I love their pizza. I have since they were at their last location. It’s probably my favorite pizza place for pizza in Denver. I don’t know if it’s the altitude or what but most places have dry dense crust. Attivo’s is crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and isn’t so dry. The only thing preventing me from giving this place a 5 for their pizza is it says they’re open on saturdays but i’ve called on a number of saturdays and no one picks up. I also stopped by on one and it was closed. Last night which was a friday, their phone was disconnected. I got a «this number has been temporarily disconnected» message every time i called. It was opened when i had driven by earlier in the day.

Surprisingly this is the best NY style slice you can find in waking distance from cap hill. The owner is super nice, and incredible friendly. Highly recommend the meatball sub as well.

I’ve ordered from here before and it was fine. Tonight I did the same through eat24, but after 15 minutes I got a message saying that they don’t have any drivers and I would have to either cancel it or come pick it up. I ended up cancelling it. Here are my two issues — don’t be available to order from if you don’t have any drivers, and if that does happen, make sure to notify your customers and eat24 right away. Now I’ve gone back, deliberated between the restaurants that weren’t my first choice, and ordered food, but I’m about half an hour behind where I was and getting hungrier by the minute. It’s not the worst thing that could happen, but I doubt I’ll be ordering from here ever again.

Great neighborhood place! We’ve stopped by 6 or 7 times but only eaten here 4 times, because they’re closed Sundays and also on random holidays like Memorial Day and 4th of July when you’d expect a place like this to be open. It’s a little pricey depending on what you order, and there’s not much seating, but the ingredients and prep are top notch. Everything we’ve tried has been fresh and good. Nice guys, too. Calzones at other places are usually larger at this price. But these are worth it. Excellent rustico-style sauce and lots of fresh ingredients. Same with the pizza: It’s a little more expensive here but really worth a try. Street tacos are spot on: Tasty, decent portions, interesting flavors, and nicely presented.

I love the gluten free pizza here. They make their own crust, and it’s one of the best GF crusts I’ve ever tasted. And the flourless chocolate cake? Divine! But the hours are terrible. They are closed on Sundays, which seems to be the only day I ever want pizza, and they close between 2 – 4. And sometimes, they just randomly close for no reason. That’s a real bummer.

Ate here twice and was so happy the first time. Second time I took a bite of my pizza and pulled a chickens foot out of my mouth. At first I thought it was a stale herb but later figured out it was a chickens foot. Ew. I will not be going back.

I love their street tacos and especially the variety of sauces. The Carnitas are my favorites. Their RODEO sub is amazing and all of their calzones and subs are fresh and fantastic. This spot is tiny and the food is prepared per visitor so it isn’t fast food.

This place is great! It’s real close to where I live and I really like their food of the gods pizza. I do sometimes miss their Tortellini pizza but I like that my pants still fit me. I try to order from here everytime my boyfriend suggests that we get pizza for dinner. I hate Cosmos pizza.

Great place to grab some grub and go limited seating inside. Service was fast and friendly, had the poncho villa sub and it was really good. Ingredients were fresh. I’ll try the pizza next time I come in!

I have ordered from this restaurant twice, the first time was great although the second time I was there I took a bite of my pizza and there was a chicken’s foot in between the dough and the cheese, I highly doubt they use chickens feet in their pizza sauce so this really grossed me out. If it weren’t for this experience I would recommend this place, but due to this I won’t be eating here again.

Cheap and good! Burrito for $ 5 and 3 tacos for $ 8. We would go back again. Friendly people!

Small place in Cap Hill. Not much seating(2 – 3 tables inside, 2 – 3 tables on the sidewalk). Great variety on the menu — pizzas, tacos, sandwiches. We went with the Colorado Chicken — best pizza I’ve had in Denver so far. Service was quick and friendly. Loses a star only because it was a bit pricey for what you get, but we’ll definitely be back.

I decided to try out attivo for the first time during my lunch break. They were pretty busy with a little bit of a line from the neighboring construction crews. I took this as being a good sign. Attivo has Italian and Mexican food, kind of an odd combo. My friend ordered a couple slices of pizza and a drink for $ 8 which is pretty reasonable. I decided on the carnitas tacos, by recommendation of the owner. He said they were a «special treat», my total for 3 tacos and a soda was $ 11. Which I think is a little steep, seeing how the tacos don’t even come with a side. We wait and wait for our order, our lunch break is almost over and we still haven’t gotten our food which is a little frustrating when your time is limited. We finally get our orders back to the office, my friend wasn’t that into her pizza, it was fairly greasy and the pieces a little small. My tacos looked great, and tasted good, but were dripping with grease, which was a little disappointing. Next time I’ll call in my order ahead of time and ask them to hold the grease. I don’t think my friend will be returning though.

This place is top notch! I’ve sampled a few of their sandwiches and pizzas and have been blown away each time. It’s a small little shop that cranks out seriously delicious Italian and Mexican food made by a friendly and passionate staff.

So happy to see Tony & crew back in this spot. The food is on point as usual. The best of both worlds ITALIANANDMEXICAN! Try the Breakfast Burrito with Carnitas spicy. Or get the House Special Pizza.

Love this place! I live right down the street and it’s perfect for a quick bite. Delicious Mexican & Italian options, I’ve only had tacos & pizza so can’t speak for the rest. And the service was so great! I’ll keep coming back.

Yesssss! Nachoooooooooo!!! Finally, a taco on cap hill worth eating. A touch of Mexico in a little shop that serves up tacos, burritos, subs and pizzas. Wa? Yah, Italian too. A true love story.
