I got some waxing done by Candace, and she was AMAZING!!! She is very relaxed and made me feel comfortable the whole time!!! She also did it fast, so it was as pain free as waxing can be! By the time i got home an hour after the waxing, my skin was in perfect condition!!!
I would HIGHLY recommend Candace to anyone!!!

I’ve been going to Mandie for my waxing needs for going on 4 years now. I’ve had Brazilians at numerous other places when I’ve lived in other cities, and Mandie is by far my favorite. She is always quick to respond and works with my schedule every time. She is down to earth and makes you feel totally at ease. She has also colored and cut my hair, styled it for special occasions and is as talented at that as she is at waxing. I can’t imagine going to anyone else in Denver!

I had not had a Brazillian wax in several months and I also had not found a place to go so I thought I would give it a try. First I left three messages to make an appointment and never received a call back. That was over a few week period. I called a fourth time and got an appointment after someone answered the phone for the next day. Mandie called a few hours before my appointment and had to push my scheduled time back an hour because she was running late. While inconvenient, I was able to make it work. Man die was able to also do an eyebrow wax while I was there which was much appreciated however my Brazillian was a different story. I noticed it hurt quite a bit more than normal and she waxed several times on my more sensitive areas. I came home to find blood in my underwear and a few layers of skin ripped off of those areas. I had never had this experience so I emailed her with my concerns and never received a response! I have been using Advil and Vaseline until it heals but needless to say I will not be back…

Mandie is absolutely great! She’s friendly and bubbly and always gives off a great vibe. She’s a true professional. I started going to her about a year ago and I keep going back every month. She’s efficient and detailed which is hard to do with waxing! She always finds a way to fit me in her schedule and makes the dreaded waxing process a quick and (mostly) painless one :) I’m comfortable recommending her to all my friends and colleagues!

Ever had a 10 min modified Brazilian?! I got one tonight. Horrible!!! Mandi was running late so I think she made up time with my appointment. She was really nice and I enjoyed her very much. However, I left with wax all over my vagina and legs. I had so much wax left it was hard to clean it off. I’ve had many Brazilians before and I’ve never left with this much wax still on my body. She was in such a hurry I had a really bad experience. I will be pursuing my money back. I won’t be back.

Amazing facial! I get regular facials and Candace’s service stood out as the best I’ve had. My skin was glowing for days and she taught me more about my skin, but never pushed products on me. I will be back!

I’ve been to see candace for massages (both for pleasure and theraputic) and she is very professional and good at what she does! Hmmm, booking another appt now…:)

I found Mandie about a year and a half ago. I’ve been going to her ever since. Her waxes are fast and comfortable, the salon is very friendly and it’s a great experience every time!

I have been going to this salon for about a year now for all of my hair cuts and waxing services. Mandie always takes great care of me. They have whatever you would like to drink including wine if you want it! They always call to confirm your appointment the day prior and are very friendly and timely when you arrive. They also have great recommendations for hair cut styles, Mandie put V layers in my hair last time and I will never get normal layers again it looked so nice! I would definitely recommend this salon.

I have been going to Asteria Salon to see Mandi for about a year now. I have gone in with some pretty different requests: purple hair, silver, platinum blonde, pixie cut, etc. Every single visit was very enjoyable and comfortable at the salon. Mandi is the absolute best and will do whatever it takes to make sure my hair turns out perfectly (even if it means a four hour session!), and everyone there is super friendly and helpful. I recommend her and Asteria Salon to everyone I know, and will continue to do so.

Mandie Cox has been my hair stylist for quite some time now and I trust her entirely! She does everything — cuts, extensions, coloring, etc. She did a wonderful job putting in my extensions for my wedding, she made sure they looked perfect for my big day and she even offered to take them in and out for me several times. Every time I bring her a picture of what I want my hair to look like, she nails it. I get so many compliments on my cut and color every time I walk out of the salon. She is even willing to stay after her normal hours to accommodate me if our schedules aren’t clicking. She really cares about her clients and wants them to be 100% happy with their results, and she will go out of her way to make that happen. The salon is always clean, bright, friendly and has great music playing. Parking is never an issue and it’s conveniently located. I highly recommend Asteria and Mandie!

Mandie is amazing! I found this salon via Groupon and have been waxing at Asteria ever since. Adorable location, great customer service, and Mandie is so fast and efficient it seems to hurt less than normal (seriously, I’m not making that up). Give this place a try, you won’t regret it!

I found this place about 3 weeks ago. I actually had seen it before and decided to go after reading the reviews. It was everything I hoped for AND MORE! I got my haircut by Danielle. I have curly hair and know what I like, and I explained it to Danielle and she did what I wanted better than I knew was possible. I have been compliments on my hair everyday since my haircut. Such a great cut!!!
I love it so much! I am definitely going back to Danielle!

No one is ever going to say they enjoyed their Brazilian. If you can’t make it enjoyable you had better make it quick and that is Mandie’s specialty. Sure it is painful but you get in, get out, and get on with your day. I bought a Groupon to get ready for summer and I am so glad I did! Mandie is super personable and keeps conversation going to calm you down. I am very happy I found this salon, I will definitely be back.

I stumbled on the 90 minute facial, massage, & brow deal and was stupid excited to try it. My experience was wonderful. First off, I love a nice salon but I don’t like the ‘tude that normally comes with one. This place was ‘tude-​free! I felt genuinely welcomed and the atmosphere was light & cheerful. It’s located in a hassle-​free area of Cherry creek with plenty of free parking options so that you don’t have to drive around for 20 minutes to get a spot you have to pay and then worry about your appointment finishing in time for your meter.
I didn’t closely monitor the timing but I felt I got close to the full 90 mins for my time on the table. Candace spent the majority of the massage time on my back which was exactly what I wanted & it felt tremendously better afterwards. The facial was also great and my skin felt revived & soft when I left. The room had good space and was comfortable and relaxing. I liked being able to pick the massage oil as well!
I have a tough schedule to fit appointments like this in, and when I set this up, the receptionist was so great and patient with me while trying to find a date and time that would work. I don’t k is if it was the same person working today, but she was equal friendly.
I would consider trying other services here as well as come back for massages and facials with Candace.

Mandie took me in at the last minute on the 1^st of January. It was my lucky day! Perfect start to the new year. From out of town needing an emergency cut. She was fantastic! I recommend her and this salon to everyone. Thank You Mandie.

I had a Halloween hair disaster. I got the bright idea to dye my hair red to go with my costume but it came out… less than ideal. Then I said, oh well I can solve this myself and got some Color Oops. Don’t do that. It was pretty horrible and turned the whole top of my head an appalling copper color. Except it was patchy. And other parts of my hair were other colors. Anyway. I called around in a total panic and Asteria was able to get me in for an emergency session.
I showed up 10 minutes early, Mandy, my stylist, was ready to take me. As soon as I took my hat off and sat down, she understood what the problem was. We discussed my natural color (a very dark brunette) and where I would like to end up. She offered to give me the full corrective processing, which is a lengthy two step processing, but we talked and decided that just dying my back to close to my natural color would really solve my problem (and take at least an hour less and be less damaging.) She whipped up some color and was really friendly and pleasant to chat with. She was very efficient and thorough, and even brought me a glass of wine while I was processing. Trust me, after having my hair look like a kaleidoscope, I definitely needed it.
The color came out beautiful. She did a good job of warning me that it was going to be really dark after what I had been living with. It is probably a shader darker than my natural, but definitely not black either. I’m really happy with it and Mandy was a pleasure to work with. I was really stressed when I came in and was quite mellow by the time I left (though the wine may have helped with that.) I am now 3 days out and have washed and styled it myself. Still beautiful. She also did a great job of not getting my skin stained at all, which I have historically had issues with. Mandy rocks and it was very reasonably priced too. I’ll definitely be back for my next cut.

Had a 90-​minute deal voucher for a massage, eyebrow waxing, and facial. I arrived at my appointment time, 4:15, but by the time I filled out paperwork and got undressed, it was 4:30… Homegirl was like «all finished!» at 5:40. When I asked her about this, she said the 90 minutes started from the minute I walked in the door. BOOO.
The massage was fine, just way too short. Probably one of the worst facials of my life, though — she just talked constantly about how shitty my skin is and all the services I should be getting (when I am regularly complimented on my skin and told I look way younger than 32) and she used far fewer steps/​products than I normally see in a facial (no mask step even). Rather than leaving with dewy, glowing skin like you’re supposed to, my face was über dry and tight when I left — which tells me she didn’t use the right products for my skin type.
Go elsewhere for facials, my friends!

It’s taken me 3+ years living in Denver to finally find a salon to call home! Love this salon and the ladies here are amazing! I see Danielle and she’s always a positive addition to my day. The prices here are in a good range too!
For my last visit, I was in and out for a cut/​style and lip wax on my lunch break. I had come all the way from the Tech Center and surprisingly didn’t go over my hour even with blowdrying and everything! Thank you, Danielle and Lauren for being pleasant and always super accommodating! xoxo

Go see Amanda Inskeep! I was referred to her by a coworker two years ago, and I have not had anyone else do my hair since. She really knows her stuff!
She is not cheap, but also not extremely expensive. She’s really good about charging according to the actual amount of work she’s done on you and won’t rip you off.
Her cuts are really good, too! They last a long time (I usually go 2 – 3 months between visits) and grow out really well.
The other ladies at the salon are nice. Lauren at the front desk is always chipper on the phone and greets you with a smile. They always offer a beverage (hot herbal tea or water).
The salon itself is nice, too. Comfortable furnishings, swanky décor, paintings for sale by local artists. Their prices on products are reasonable — 10−20% less than places like Ulta.
