A1 24-Hours Emergency Locksmith

The car is unlocked, and they did their job w/​o damaging my lock. However, I have had several occasions where my keys have been locked in my car (by friends…) and each time it cost around $ 40-​$ 60 to have the door popped open, and retrieve the lost keys.
My complaint is that I feel this company is dishonest, and I have no tolerance for dishonesty. When I called, I was quoted «$ 35 to come, and a minimum of $ 15 to open the door» Thinking that it would be in the neighborhood of $ 50-​$ 75 total, I agreed.
When the man came, he charged us $ 120!!! I have never, ever paid that much or heard of anyone being charged that much to open a car.
The ‘technician’ did not have to do anything special to open the car. It took him approx 1 – 2 minutes. Actually, it took him longer to fill out the paper work than to open the car.
I called the following day to inquire about why it was so much more than we were originally quoted, he gave me a string of bullshit excuses. I have learned my lesson about getting a more ‘firm’ quote before accepting the work to be done. But I will not use this company again, and would advise you also to take your business elsewhere.
