DO NOT UNDER ANY CONDITION HIRE THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. Morgan and Adriana Montaño are incompetent schedulers who have hostile attitudes and create an unreliable experience. Our facility used them when our compactor stopped working and they improperly scheduled us 3 different times, they put the wrong information into their own scheduling system and sent drivers out when we didn’t request them. When we did, we requested a 40 yard roll off, they sent us a 15 yard. We told them we didn’t need a roll off the following day, they showed up with one. They also charged us for a 40 yard when they only delivered a 15. Thankfully, we are backed by American Express and they will not allow the incorrect charges to go though.

Luckily, Unilocal wised-​up and doesn’t allow those fake reviews to be tabulated into the the ACTUAL CUSTOMER REVIEWS.
*****FOLLOW-​UP. 5280 called me because their «IT guy saw my review online»: It’s apparent that Adriana Montaño & Morgan need intensive customer service training. I would NEVER TRUST 5280 WASTE SOLUTIONS with my personal finances/​credit card information. Good luck to this «locally owned business,» that does not provide locally owned quality services or customer satisfaction.

You should hire these guys if you want them to wreck your neighbor’s property. Property damage happened on multiple occasions. I contacted Skip — the General Manager — with no results. The property damage has cost me over $ 1000 so far. I would pass on hiring these guys and their drivers. 5280 Waste Solutions may be cheaper on the front end, but you always getting what you paid for in the long run. I will never hire 5280 Waste Solutions — their trucks are just too big to do any residential service. Plus, there are plenty of other roll-​off services to choose from. I’d recommend YellowBox Disposal — Keith is one of the best drivers I’ve ever seen and I’ve been in this business for almost 20 years.

There’s no room for drama queens in this economy. As far as residential waste dumpsters go; it’s a pretty simple business.
— Deliver a container for people to put waste in, pick it up, charge the customer. Sometimes you have to get a city permit… but it’s not something that doesn’t happen everyday.
So why can’t this happen without attitude, and a 3 party call-​back team?!
Let’s start with their excuses:
1. They’re too busy
2. They don’t have enough containers
3. Compliance dictates they cannot place a container in the perfectly normal, flat and accessible back yard
This really isn’t a big deal, but after 6 months of dealing with their whining and refusing to give us simple things like invoices… I am NEVER using this service ever again.
Our most recent example is an order we placed for an Englewood property. Several weeks have past and still no dumpster. We’ve been using their service for over a year, through various General Contractors and some Direct Pay. They have all our phone numbers and the delivery guy on the scene told my boss he would deliver the unit to the back yard as he was looking at the property 3 days ago. Why… well the «compliance officer» who answers the phone like a disgruntled and homicidal receptionist says «it’s delivered on the street or not at all».
Here’s why I finally gave up and called another company immediately:
— They send multiple invoices for the same property, same charge, but different invoice number (I’m not sure why, perhaps just in case you’re asleep at the wheel you might pay them again).
— The «compliance officer» is just like the other billing personnel who cannot take a simple request without getting offended and responding unprofessionally.
— We do street permit drops all the time with them; but they had to make this one impossible to deliver and impossible to discuss for no reason at all. Our Agent viewed the property to confirm our request was appropriate (and guess what, it’s no different than our other back yard deliveries).
— They won’t extend the same prices they offer our GC to us when we pay direct.
— They charge our credit card and rarely ever send an invoice to tell me what for.
— They raised their prices last month because they have low capacity rather than working on availability (hello…buy more containers… it’s a no-brainer…more containers = more money)
