5280 Flowers

An employee in my office underwent emergency surgery last night and was in the hospital. I wanted to get a nice flower basket delivered to her hospital room. Today I call and was told that it wouldn’t be a problem. A few hours later I got word that the person I was sending flowers to was discharged. I called the hospital and they said that the delivery driver from 5280 Flowers took down the new address and would deliver it there. On the other side of town. I just got word that the flowers and fruit basket arrived and she is beyond thrilled with the way they look. The company went above and beyond what I would’ve expected. Highly recommended. Thanks!

Just had 5 dozen roses delivered to my girlfriend and couldn’t be happier with the product and service. There was a very small window of time to get these in her hands at the right moment and they made it happen. I’ll definitely use their service again.

If we want to talk about frauds: let’s look at how all of this shop’s 5 star reviews were left by users with just 1 review.
I never asked for a discount despite what the owner claims in the comment. But, I think her comment demonstrates what a poor business person and decision maker she is. Anyone who wants to see pics of the arrangement I got vs what was pictured, feel free to message me.

I’ve used 5280 a number of times and while they make a great bouquet, their customer service is really lacking. The woman I’ve spoken with a couple times is rude and brash over very minute things. Also, they hand-​write their notes. This could be a great and personal touch! However, the handwriting isn’t legible and a few times now the words have been miss-​spelled.
On the positive side; the website is easy to use and their delivery is pretty fast. Again, the flowers look great and are obviously professionally done.

I love these guys! They have great customer service and they offer arrangements that are unique and sophisticated. When I order flowers from these guys the recipient can tell that the arrangement isn’t something anyone could have picked up at the grocery store. It makes a huge difference to me knowing that I can order something that is aesthetically pleasing and delivered quickly.

My husband signed up for the subscription service and every other Wednesday for the past month I have received a gorgeous bouquet of colorful flowers! The first time (the week of Valentine’s Day) included several roses along with lilies and other flowers and greenery. The second delivery was a beautiful selection of orchid stems (at least a dozen) that was colorful and exotic. Today I was thrilled to be given a variety that included hydrangeas, lilies, tulips, roses, orchids, and more! I have always been impressed that these flowers last very close to two weeks before another bouquet is delivered! I am so happy to be receiving such high-​quality flowers!

After reading the other reviews and knowing full well what I might be getting into, I ordered a rose arrangement for my significant other and paid extra for the same day delivery– placing my order before their requested deadline: 12:00PM. I appreciate the fact that the flowers indeed came the same day and in a very good time frame (within two hours), however I am extremely disappointed at the bouquet that arrived. It looked ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the arrangement I had ordered with the exception that roses indeed came with other flowers, but the pot was a completely different shape and color, the roses were different colors then what I requested, and the filler greens were completely different plants then the ones listed in the description. I understand seasonality. I understand color variances. And I even understand pot variances. What I am not happy about is that my significant other received a bouquet that did not resemble the arrangement I had chosen AT ALL. It was like they picked a completely different bouquet and sent that instead. I wish I had went in and delivered the bouquet myself. For the price I paid, I could have picked up the same bouquet at the grocery store for a fraction of what I paid them to arrange. Very disappointed.
When I contacted the management to suggest calling the customer if they couldn’t meet the needs of the arrangement that day, I received a very rude answer from the management and was told that the availability of flowers was limited today and tough luck– before I was hung up on. Not only am I disappointed now, but almost hurt and embarrassed that my significant other received such a poor bouquet at the office and that I spent so much money for nothing. Save your money for someone who actually cares about the quality of your intentions. Don’t embarrass yourself.

Nice plant, but terrible customer service! Here are my 3 awful experiences:
(1) I got a ficus delivered from here one day. Turns out it’s not even the plant my girlfriend ordered for me. AFTER they delivered it, they called her and told her they went ahead and gave me something else since what she ordered wasn’t in stock. She had absolutely no say in the matter, and her initial order was quite expensive. No offer for refund, of course.
(2) The plant came with no identifying information. When I kindly asked for it over e-​mail, this is the entire response I got:
«It’s a Ficus»
When I responded with (paraphrasing) «thank you, you should consider including this information so newbies like me can care for it properly» here’s the entire response I got:
«Not available»
Not available??? How does that even make sense? Wow. Ok, maybe someone’s having a bad day.
(3) Turns out the pot the plant came in dried out and pretty much shattered within 3 days of receiving it, and since the plant was expensive I called to get a replacement pot. The lady answering the phone sounded bored for starters but asked for my info to look up the order (apparently it takes too long to do over the phone?). Six hours later no call back, so I call and she’s apparently left for the day. After a more pleasant call with the guy there, here’s the e-​mail I get:
«We will replace the pot even though we really see no reason why we should have to. I have ordered it and we will deliver it as soon as it is in
Fred»
Fred is the owner. WTH? Are you trying to convince me that I’M the jerk? You could’ve turned this into you being the good guy since apparently you don’t see a reason to replace the pot to begin with. Wow x2.
Anyway, it maybe cost you $ 10 to deliver the replacement pot, but you’ve lost a lifetime of business from me.
UPDATE: the second pot also dried out and cracked, I sent photos and the owner called me a liar saying they were dropped (can send anyone the e-​mail chain upon request). After my protest the owner replied that maybe it was «magic.» Ridiculous.

I just had to write and tell you that I just loved the flowers my boyfriend had sent to me from your company. The arrangement was tasteful and very well done featuring beautiful seasonal flowers as well as some of my tried and true favorites. Not only was the delivery and service impeccable but the flowers themselves lasted an extremely long time. I received the arrangement for my birthday in December and threw the last of the flowers out about two weeks ago. Now that’s quality work!
Thanks again for doing such wonderful work.
Oh, and for giving us a new couple catch-​phrase, «Yes, I love you.»

This place is a joke. The delivery times on their website do not reflect the actually availability. Then, when they have to email you after placing your order, they are rude. I just don’t see why they are rude to me when they are the ones that aren’t doing their job. I must say other than the potted plants most of the arrangements here were cheesy looking anyway. Save your self unnecessary rude emails and choose a different florist.

I was stuck half way around the world on my wife’s birthday. I had already been gone for three weeks and knew she needed something special.
Her not being a fan of flowers limited my choices with the big name national floral shops. I was in need of next day delivery (had been out of internet and phone service areas), AND needed it delivered at a fairly specific time. She is a bartender, and some of her shifts can be as little as 2 hours long.
In comes 5280 Flowers. After browsing their web site for a while, it was nice to see they had much more than just flowers (baked goods and chocolates, the REAL key to a womans heart). Not only that, but some of the stuff was so fresh, they would only do next day orders. To top it off they offered delivery windows of 2 hours!
Needless to say, I put in an order right away, and a day later my wife had the chocolates delivered to her at work. Talk about a life saver.
And from what I have heard, everything was quite tasty as well.

Don’t know about the actual product because I canceled my order before putting it in, but the customer service over the phone is not friendly to say the least. I was trying to order flowers for my elderly grandparents who live in a secured building and called to find out how the delivery works in this case. I was told that if I pay extra on top of the $ 10 delivery fee, they can give me a 2 hr time frame for delivery, and since the driver can’t wait at all when he gets there, I’d have to have someone standing at the door waiting for him for 2 hours. I asked if the driver could call me when he’s almost there, so I could call my grandparents and let them know to come outside (since they don’t speak English, it would make no sense to call them), and I was told that the drivers are too busy to make phone calls and wait around. For over $ 50 for a small rose arrangement, I think I’ll find better customer service elsewhere.
