Machines take a reloadable card. $ 3 deposit to get the card, then they refund that back when you return the card. Dryers are $ 1.99 and price on washer depends on load size & water temp. A little pricey, but very clean!

Great price, quick service (if you’re doing it yourself) and honestly, I did 4 loads in one washer — not because I forced it, but because they had that option. Great place with friendly staff who are ALWAYS helpful and available. I highly recommend this establishment.

My laundry was picked up at my hotel and dropped out off. I got email letting me know where my laundry was and when it was on the way. Same day service was an additional$ 10.00.

We dropped off our comforter to have it washed this past weekend. Drop off was very easy and the price was very reasonable! They sent me a text when it was ready to pick up — very convenient. The pick up process was also easy. We get it home, and it looks wonderful — brand new. We will definitely be back!

Best wash dry fold service I’ve ever used, and since I’ve been on the road for over 2 months I’ve used a lot.

Clothes were folded nicely and wrapped into individual bundles (Its no fun getting a bag of 35lbs of folded laundry, only to open it and for the clothes to spill out)
I asked for unscented laundry detergent and the staffer was thoughtful and attentive enough to ask my preference regarding fabric softener. I’ve had other places use unscented detergent but forget that detail!
I wish I lived in the area so I could keep using this place.

I got the wash and fold service and they made it so easy! They even had it done within a few hours! Everthing was folded, wrapped or hung up nicely. I will be here again for sure!

I have never been to the laundromat before this one, so I’m not sure what the expectations are, however this place has never let me down.
There is a large selection of washers to choose from depending on the size of the load you’re washing, which I find to be convenient. There is also many large dryers to accommodate each washer.
They have a system where you use a card instead of coins. You load the card with whatever balance you want and then swipe the card at each machine to pay for your load. It’s very easy!
Also, the machines are very efficient– my clothes come out clean and I never have to run the dryer extra cycles to get my clothes dry.
They also offer a wash and fold service which I think is a nice touch. I’ve never used it, but I’ve noticed it’s very popular.
Staff is also friendly– my boyfriend accidentally left his favorite shirt there once, so I went the next day to see if they found it. The attendant was very helpful and immediately produced the shirt, which staff had found and put safely in the back.
Laundry day is always inconvenient for me, and coming here always eases that! Four stars!

This is the nicest laundromat that I have used in Denton. (It was worth the drive through traffic on university).
They use cards to pay for the machines, which is slightly complicated, but easy if you don’t want to carry around a bunch of quarters.
Kind of expensive, but worth it.

We spent a couple of weeks out of town for a funeral and had to use other washaterias and I realized that this place (specifically) isn’t expensive, the cost of doing laundry in a facility that isn’t subsidized (by your apartment or university) is much higher than it used to be. Since we had the tour of laundry places while on the road, I have upgraded this rating to a 4. I’m very thankful for my own washer and dryer but I’ll be back for bulky items.

I had my laundry picked up at my apartment and delivered after washing. Yesterday, I stressed to the pick-​up guy that I didn’t want my clothes to be left at my door but delivered personally because anything will get stolen or messed with that’s not nailed these days. That’s the least thing one expects when they’re paying 80 bucks for 3 – 4 bags of laundry. He said he’d make a note of that. This morning, the phone rang, I was in bed, I got up, but I didn’t catch it. The message said the Wash It Kwik driver would be there shortly. I waited and waited, and then opened the front door to check on my cats. Lo and behold, the laundry was there without the driver ever ringing the bell or knocking on the door despite the previous agreement.
When I talked to the owner about it, at first he was apologetic, but then, in the rapidly growing fashion of how business owners behave these days, he moved the ball in my court by trying to convince me how nobody else BUT ME minds leaving the laundry at the door. He also suggested that the delivery girl didn’t want to meet me personally because the previous time I was in my underwear (actually, a pair of long athletic cotton or silk shorts that would be perfectly fine in a gym). I said, «That’s crazy! Am I supposed to dress up for each and every delivery person?» I explained how the accumulation of temperature in these apartments affects the way I dress and how other businesses’ delivery personnel or neighbors had never complained about it. If this girl feels threatened or if her delicate nature is offended by a 63-​year-​old guy in shorts, she shouldn’t be in that line of work or she should have asked for someone else to do the delivery. The owner, for lack of a better argument, then lied and accused me of «cursing» even though absolutely no curse words were uttered. When I said that next time I’d do some comparison shopping regarding the delivery procedures before I ask for Wash It Kwik services, he suggested I stop doing business with them, which I wholeheartedly agreed with.
Another example of information inconsistency at this place of business: when I called a few days before to establish the latest time the driver can make a pick up, I was told it was 3 p.m. I called around 2:30 yesterday, and they told me it was too late for that day. When I pointed out what they’d told me initially, they relented and sent a guy out.
In the 1980’s, The New Yorker magazine had an emblematic cartoon about the changing views of bringing up children and respecting elders. This young mother is getting her son ready for his first day of school, and she’s saying, «And, remember, Andy, don’t let your teacher mess with you!» This same attitude has creeped into almost every facet of American society as that generation of kids has become adults. Instead of saying to me as a wronged customer, «I’m sorry, sir, I’ll try to get to the bottom of who dropped the ball regarding your specific request, and I’ll reprimand the person (s) responsible», the Wash It Kwik owner was defending his employees with the lame excuse of, «Everybody makes mistakes.» I will do everything in my power to dis-​recommend this business.

Laundromats are parallel universes in and of themselves so comparing one to the other is like comparing one circus sideshow to another. Wash It Kwik is definitely more costly than your standard coin operated site but the time saved is worth the extra change (most of the time). What seems to be most confusing for newcomers is the use of laundry cards as opposed to quarters. You buy a re-​loadable card you shove into this machine that allows you increase the monetary sum in increments. Cash or credit/​debit are both accepted. You take your card, shove it into the slot on your preferred machine and it deducts the amount from you card. Recently they’ve added these massive, fit-​a-​family-​of-​five machines that must harness energy derived directly from the sun. This is great it for some freakish reason you actually have 80 pounds of laundry to do and are considerably cost-​effective for $ 10 per load. The problem is that the cost/​benefit ratio has rendered the rest of the machines less cost effective.
Anyway, I’ve never had issues with the machines destroying my clothes and the many Bic lighters I’ve laundered have never set anything aflame. There are plenty of machines to go around and various load sizes depending on if you’ve waited a mere week or many months to get around to doing your laundry (hence the behemoth machines). The best time to go to Wash It Kwik is in the morning. The worst time to go is any time after 9am on the weekend which is how I will qualify my previous «most of the time» comment. If you are opposed to unsupervised, obnoxious pupae, fast food smells, loud televisions, and human eyesores, then I suggest you restrict your patronization of this Wash It Kwik to the early hours of operation if you expect to retain your faith in humanity.

Wash It Kwik costs more than other laundromats, but it’s so worth it. The place is always clean, and the machines are well-​maintained. There’s a kids’ area (eliminating one of the main hazards of other laundromats) and free wifi. Since the machines operate on cards, you don’t have to scrounge for coins. You can load the card with cash or debit/​credit cards. Highly recommended!

While I was pregnant, I did my laundry at Roy’s on Eagle.
If I had known about Wash It Kwik back then, I would’ve started doing my laundry there a whole lot sooner.
–You can use whichever is convenient for you: cash or debit card. You will be using their laundry card (after the machine puts your money on the card), but anything money that’s leftover, you’re refunded after you’re finished with your laundry.
–They do have a children’s area, but it really just looked like a dark corner with a couple of chairs.
–There’s plenty of parking.
–It’s next door to Sonic.
–The customer service (at least, today) was awesome! Even before the owner showed up, the attendant was polite and even helped me a little. (I had a lot, a lot of laundry to do — and a toddler in a stroller to watch.) Who I think is the owner helped me get all of my laundry to my car. That basically made my day! Unless you have kids, you have no idea how hard it can be to get laundry done at a laundry mat, with a toddler.
–There are tables and chairs for students to study.
I really like this place.

I moved from one side of Denton to the other, and still brought all my dirty ass clothes to this laundromat. I actually enjoyed doing laundry here because the machines were always clean and well-​maintained, the dryers are cheap, there’s a 10% discount for students (plus a $ 2 bonus — I think — when you put $ 20 on the card), and there are little chairs and tables throughout where I got some major league studying done.
Plus, they have a kids section in the corner to keep those kiddos busy and entertained. I dont have kids, but I appreciate them not running around and knocking over my basket and all. AND, they have wi-​fi available, so bring in that laptop if you want to. Get your Unilocal on during the spin cycle!
Also convenient is the card system they have instead of quarters. I appreciated the fact that I wasnt scrounging around looking for those valuable coins but instead could throw in some cash money and be set for a laundry session or two.
