Walmart Supercenter

all i can say is that they don’t have enough motor scooters to get around, and they just don’t care about the customer? they are only concerned about their paycheck.

One of the (asset) managers at this location threatened to have students arrested for recruiting for a university study in the parking lot. Gestapo tactics on young girls are a bit unnecessary when all you need to do is ask them to leave. I’m a bit concerned about the type of employees this location has within its hierarchy. Threatening to ruin the lives of young girls for something so trivial is truly unsettling.

Eh, it’s a walmart. It’s a walmart that caters mostly to college students. Which isn’t a bad thing by any means but they just don’t seem to stock stuff very well. We looked for a few basic items and they were out. They had spots for it, they were just out of it.
It’s in a convenient location but honestly, if I lived in the area I’d probably just go to the super target a couple miles away. It’s good for if you’re in a pinch though I guess.

I hate this Walmart and avoid it all costs. The people here are ALWAYS rude. Boxes everywhere. Dirty looks from people who work there. Not to mention cashiers on heroin. I hate this place with a passion.

This Walmart is usually a pretty busy one, but they keep it clean and organized and respond well to building lines. There’s plenty of parking and lots of other places in the area so you can combine errand stops. FYI — if you know your Walmart layouts, this one is the pharmacy in the middle near the groceries layout. Sam’s Club is right next door. This Walmart’s gas station is actually the Sam’s Club one, so you have to be a Sam’s member to buy gas there. This location has a McDonalds.

Went today, out of stock stuff as usual,
This time used the bathroom and found pubic hair all over the floor in a stall and laying on the ground next to it was a pair of scissors. No joke… The management of this Walmart is awful

Worst Wal-​Mart ever… they mark things one price and then charge a different price… in my world’s that it’s lying and stealing… you should be ashamed of yourselves… and there assistant manager is absolutely no help and needs to find another career path because his customer service is beyond horrible…

Great upscale improvement to old Denton Walmart! This isn’t one of the «Gucci» Walmarts like they have in Plano that make fresh sushi every day, but it is a clean store. The floors and aisles are cleaned regularly. This was not the case in the old Denton Walmart and the place turned into a dive in short order. This place is always packed, but I can always get a good parking space in their huge parking lot.

Well… i do not go here UNLESS I absolutely need something last minute and late at night… with a 60% chance they most likely are out of it.
This Walmart always looks bare, half of the products are gone from the shelf and when you inquire about when they will have more, or when the next truck is in… you get a bewildered look from any of the employees. Then they just shrug and walk away. (Ex: I asked why there was a tiny almost non-​existant spot for cotton balls, why this store only had two empty box area for some, where-​as the one in Hickory Creek had a wall of cotton balls, q-​tips etc.- they said they didn’t know, and would only put it in that area.) If a store dose not see that a product sells, they should supply more, it’s a profit– you don’t have to follow a «plan-​o-​gram» to an exact T.
This Walmart is also laid out completely different compare to the other hundreds in the metroplex, which can be confusing if you need to get in and out quickly. Coffee, in the back, not the isle next to condiments.
Lastly, the lines… put more self checkouts in, or more people working cash registers, it’s asinine. Not to mention, the 10+ cashiers I have checked out with, only two knew how to scan a coupon. The rest ended up calling a manager to help them scan, even after I told them to scan a certain part, they said they would still call.
So do not go here unless you are okay with half of the items you go in for. Drive to another Walmart, or target for that matter.

This Walmart never fails to frustrate me. While the exterior of the store is well-​maintained and painted in nice neutral colours, the store itself is a nightmare. Certain products (many of them staples, such as milk and eggs) are routinely out-​of-​stock, and I have gotten so fed up with waiting for them to restock their makeup aisle (I buy a brand of primer that I can only find at Walmart) that after a month I finally drove to the other side of Denton, where the (much smaller) Walmart had it stocked and on the shelf. I also hate the college crowds that this Walmart attracts. It is not uncommon to see large groups of college-​age boys raucously roaming the store after dark. As a female in her mid (okay, late) 20s, I do not feel comfortable visiting this store late at night, having received one too many propositions from drunken college boys while shopping. (Really, you’re going to hit on me at WALMART? While I have a cart full of groceries?) All in all, I generally avoid this Walmart. Why waste my time when I know 10% of my shopping list won’t be in-​stock?

Always crowded, day or night. It doesn’t help that they don’t offer small baskets — everyone has to use a large shopping cart regardless of what they’re planning on purchasing. However, I usually have to make tax-​exempt purchases, and the staff is all very privy to this process. I appreciate the efficiency.
Don’t go here if you’re searching for produce — they’re selection is disappointing, and the quality is embarrassing. I only shop here when it’s a last resort.

The store is clean and organized although they seem to run out of products often. I know this happens a lot in a college town especially during certain times of the year. It seems like they could keep that from happening.
We receive WIC benefits and have never been able to shop at this Walmart without having some sort of issue. Either the cashier doesn’t know how to process the transaction or the register isn’t working with the card. It is incredibly frustrating for us and for the people waiting in line behind us. Especially when it is busy and there are not enough registers open.

MUCH better than the Wal Mart on Loop 288. Gets very busy here. If they would stock the shelves better, it’s an easy 4 star, but due to that, it gets 3. Staff are friendlier, just need a couple more cashiers! Customers are MUCH less ghetto fashioned thankfully.

Since when have I gone so low to even think about reviewing Walmart? To answer my own question, every time I find myself needing to go to Walmart, I always try to avoid the Walmart on the loop and head to this Walmart instead!
This Walmart has been opened for close to 10 months and it still feels so new and clean! Best of all, I don’t feel the «ghettoness» when I come here to shop. Plus people working here are friendlier and do not look like a clown (you know, the lady that applies rainbow color eyeshadow on her eyelids or the person that looks like he just got out of a cave).
For what this place is, I give it four stars!
Time to write my shopping list and head over to this Walmart!

It’s Wal-​Mart what do you expect. This Wal-​Mart is pretty new and very annoying at the same time. I find the way they arrange items is different than the first Wal-​Mart in Denton. So, when I first went here it took me a bit to find some things at first but eventually got the knack of it. The employees are frustrating because they don’t know where things are or know how to do things. I asked for a cashier to suspend a transaction so I can get my card which I forgot in my car and she ends up un0ringing everything up and said oh well. Most cashiers should know how to suspend a transaction. Customer Service is really nice and Photo Shop is nice too. No complaints there. Luckily they have everything and they’re pretty much in stock – good for me! Yay!

I don’t usually review large chains, but there’s a NEW Walmart Supercenter in town, and we should roll out the controversy and the welcome mat right?
This one is just like all the rest… but with a nice façade; with workers that all seem to be younger (college age), friendly, and helpful; and it’s neat and clean… we’ll see how long they can keep up with all that.
A nice addition to the north side of town, but does Denton need another Walmart?
