History

Established in 1987.

Dr. Tryon graduated from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in Saint Louis, MO in 1984. He then completed a General Practice Residency Program with the United States Navy, in Portsmouth Virginia. After completing 3 years serving his country, he chose to move to Denton, Texas, to serve the people of this community. Dr. Tryon has been practicing for over 25 years and has completed countless hours of continuing education. This experience and training, combined with personal attention and care, assures that each patient can experience dental peace of mind.

Business Owner

Dr. Tryon was raised on a cotton farm in Arizona. From a young age he has learned how to work, and work hard. But he realized that farm work was not his chosen career. At the age of 14 he decided that he wanted to be a dentist. With a firm commitment, continued perseverance and a lot of hard work he accomplished his goal in 1984. He continues to work hard to continuing his learning, to hone his skills, and to care about the patients whom he serves.

Dr. Tryon is married to Catherine Edwards Tryon. They have nine children and 11 grandchildren… so far. Dr. Tryon loves to work with the Boy Scouts of America, watch old western movies and television shows, and do woodworking projects. He is currently perfecting his skills in making recurve bows and arrows.
