This TAS store tries to pose as a registered Goodyear. They have at best a lose, and possibly no real connection. I went to get a minor thing fixed, and was told to expect a $ 100 charge just to look. Then, as I sat in the lobby, I witnessed two acts of incompetent work being argued over by staff, in addition to three or four workers just sitting around chatting. I got my keys back and left. I suggest you do the same.

I dont know how to start, but this place is begging for a sign that says «Under New Management!» I have a new truck and I went here to get a tire replaced. Went there 7 – 2, understanding that everyone was trying to get out of town for the fourth, I waited 3 hours to get the tire replaced. Fine and dandy, I don’t mind waiting if you’re busy. The tire they put on was same brand and model there was just a little visual difference. I didn’t say anything about it cause I just got done waiting 3 hours for a tire to get replaced. Three weeks later they call me up and say they think they messed up and put the wrong size tire on, sure enough it was wrong. Scheduled appointment to replace it, and 45 minutes after I got there they finally got the truck jacked up and wheel off. The tech went to lunch for 30 min. Got back he got the tire changed and got side tracked about 5 times before he got the tire back on the truck started the lug nuts. Left to move another truck from one bay to another. Came back tightened the lugs with impact. Got side tracked again and came back to let the jack down. Finally at that point just gave the tech an A-​OK hand signal and pointed at my truck and he said it was ready to go. He said he was sorry, and it took all the kind bones in my body to not say «Yes you are!» 5 total hours of waiting for 1 tire change. So all that being said, I’m sorry for going there.

I have been living here in Denton for college so I am away from my Dad who usually helps me with my car. Every time I come in or have an issue they always have the best attitude and go the extra mile to make sure my car is in the best condition. After having my alternator replaced they gave me a call a week later to check-​up on my car. That’s what I call great customer service!

Worst service I’ve ever had. Waited 2 hours for just a flat tire repair. They literally sat around and talked about TV while I sat in the waiting area for hours. Don’t go here.

This place is awful and the manager is a jerk. I bought tires from them and less than 6 months later the sidewall blows out. Still had 80%+ on the tread. They refused to honor their warranty or even pro rate the tire. I work in the auto repair industry and even talked to gentlemen from Firestone and discount tire, who confirmed it was a material defect and should have been covered. I’ll never visit this shitty shop again.

Update: about a month later started having low oil pressure. Checked how much oil I had, and they had overfilled the oil by about TWO QUARTS. Luckily I caught it before it caused more damage. Avoid at all costs unless you want a blown engine drowning in oil.

It’s been over a year, and I still turn red when I think about these people. Maybe that sounds harsh, but there it is. I’ve waited this long to post this because I suspect that Unilocal doesn’t post reviews with profanity. They get one star because there’s no «no star» option here.
I drive a lot of miles, so my car, and it’s maintenance, are important to me.
Their economical oil changes drew me in. For a number of years they rotated tires, checked brakes and all sorts of other things when they did the oil change. They took a while to get things done, but that was OK, because it made me feel secure knowing the tires were rotated and the brakes checked. especially with the miles I drive. I also told them, each and every time, to do whatever maintenance, routine and other, was required.
My car started running rough and over heating. So, I took it to them and asked them to look at it. They wanted over $ 3,000 to fix a host of problems. The car wasn’t worth that, so I didn’t have the work done. They managed to rub salt in the wound by telling me that the issues were due to «a total lack of maintenance».
Car parts wear out. I get that. But I’d told them to stay on top of things. And they are the ones who delivered the «total lack of maintenance». After I asked them to take care of what needed doing.
I got a new car, a nice hybrid, and they won’t be working on it. Ever. I can’t afford for them to give my new car their signature «total lack of maintenance».

I have had my car serviced here several times, and the staff is mostly helpful and friendly. I have no specific complaints about the location, but I when you come, be sure that you’re not in a hurry to be somewhere. The other reviews about taking awhile for an oil change are true.

I went in to have a flat fixed and wound up waiting around 2 hours before they even pulled my car in. Then they said there was nothing to fix, charged me $ 20 and sent me home

I have been in multiple times for a simple oil change and been told the wait (with nobody in the waiting area) is an hour to an hour and a half. I this time made sure I had ample time to wait, it is two hours for an oil change and state inspection. I also hate auto shops that attempt to fool women, with other staff members laugh at you when you tell them no I personally changed my filter 3 weeks ago they still claim its old ($ 50) and in need of changing? This place is a time wasted! Terrible rude service and the wait is outrageous! I haven’t been in any place so disrespectful and rude in quite some time! I will not be back nor would I suggest it to anyone! Needless to say they didn’t even put the inspection sticker on correctly.

Stopped in here for the oil change/​tire rotation advertised in the window for $ 25. There weren’t busy when I pulled in. All I needed was a standard oil change, nothing else. It took over an hour and a half and when they were done I found out that my tires weren’t rotated because I didn’t specifically ask for it. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back.

I don’t know what it is about Denton, but I’ve gotten three flat tires in the last six months from driving around town (all from nasty nails and screws).
This Goodyear has friendly staff and provided quick tire patching, as well as, quick oil changes. Prices are very competitive, and wait times have been short.
When the time comes for new tires, or if I every need more significant automotive work (hopefully not anytime soon), I’ll be sure to inquire at this Goodyear first.
