Reef Remedies specializes in salt water aquariums and livestock. We offer regularly scheduled cleaning services for home and office. We carry supplies and livestock for all of your aquarium needs. We also have reverse osmosis purified water (for drinking and aquariums) and pre-​buffered salt water. Owner Alex Around has over 15 years of experience and knowledge with aquariums and livestock.

History

Established in 2006.

Reef Remedies was founded in January of 2006. Starting as a side job, it quickly grew into a successful business with over 50 customers in the Denton area. The owner of Reef Remedies has over 15 years of knowledge in reef aquarium maintenance. As experts, we work with you to solve and fix any problems in your home or office aquarium. Reef Remedies takes a personal approach to aquarium maintenance. You will always know who is coming into your home. We are flexible when it comes to your schedule and are willing to compromise on days and times of maintenance. Our business can supply you with livestock from trusted wholesalers as well as all of your necessary aquarium supplies. We also provide custom tank installations within homes and offices.

My love for aquariums began in childhood. Through trial and error, I learned how to keep freshwater aquariums. I started working for local pet shops and my hobby turned into a passion. I began cleaning aquariums on my days off and discovered that I wanted to operate my own business. I went professional in 2006 as Reef Remedies Aquarium Service and Maintenance, and it grew into a successful aquarium shop in July of 2009.
