Pros: My son took lessons there for several months. The Redings seem to be good w/the kids and my son enjoyed it. They keep the class moving which is good for kids — it’s a good mix of drills, exercise, fun(dodgeball) and instruction. Sometimes when sparing and such, the kids tend to sit for a while, but there are necessary evils, I suppose. Cons: The parking lot is small and you often get trapped in there. Be aware of the cancellation period and stay on top of the billing… There’s a 120 day cancellation period. Unusually long and you pay for whatever month the 120 days ends in so it could be up to 5 months(I cancelled Jan 3rd and 120 days later is May 3rd and they intended to charge me for May also). I argued and eventually they agreed to not charge me for May. Fortunately, I brought a cancellation letter and got them to sign it on Jan 3rd so I had documented the date, etc. The monthly rate was $ 114 and the first draft they did was for $ 1140. Fortunately, I caught it and called Mark. He gave me the number to call the membership place, I called and they fixed it. Glad I noticed that. The instructional aspect of the place seemed fine, but the other aspects(parking, billing, customer service, etc.) made the experience overall not so great unfortunately.

I have not only known the Reding Brothers for over a decade, but I have also had the pleasure of training with them on numerous occasions. This has allowed me to see their vast level of knowledge, their excellent ability to teach, and their passion to help others. The Reding Brothers have the drive, dedication, and skill to help people achieve their martial arts and fitness goals. I would highly recommend their academy to anyone! Parents beware of the auto-draft payment requirements mandated by the owner. If you ever decide to cancel or «quit» the studio will continue to draft monies for a minimum of 2 months and as long as they can after that. In my case, Mark has drawn $ 100 a month for well over a year after my son quit the classes. Mark was smug about his contract language when i first approached him and would not return my phone calls when I continued to call and complain.
