My bro recommended this stop being as we are craft beer drinkers. We weren’t disappointed! From the outside, you think it’s just a regular station, typical stuff. But if you know craft beers, you would get super excited after browsing their selection! Six packs & bombers galore! The prices were great and of course, they have more than just craft beers (snacks, etc). The guy at the counter was super friendly and chatting beers, seemed to get good traffic in here. $ 70 of beer later, we headed out with a box full of brews. I can’t wait to swing back in here on my next Denton trip!

Found this store because we were looking for more than just the regular beer and we hit the jackpot! They have a huge selection with some local choices also. The fella at the counter even informed us of beer events in the area. Midway Mart was amazing and I will definitely go back.

We stopped in based off of a recommendation from a friend and I was shocked with how much variety they have! Seriously, the best selection of beer in Denton. They have a ton of hard to find brews — all tucked into a rather unassuming exterior. Definitely will be returning!

Awesome beer selection. Great for stopping by and picking up a six pack or a bomber. Thet are opening a growler filling joint on Hickory and Welch. Can’t wait!

Definitely the go to spot for a great selection of craft beer in Denton. Always a good selection on rotation and they keep customers update with new brews they get in on Facebook which comes in handy.

Awesome beer selection, good prices, friendly staff. If youre from out of town and looking for rarer beers, this place and Metzlers are your places to go.

What a little gem! Shhh, don’t tell anyone but their beer selection is something special. They even carry wines sometimes that I have never seen.

Midway has the best selection of beer in Denton. I was happy to find exactly what I was looking for within minutes of walking into the store. Inconvenient parking but the beer makes up for it. I always stop here when I need beer in Denton

I’ve heard SO many good things about this place from friends and colleagues to the point where I decided to make sure to stop by on my next trip up to Dallas /​Denton. When I rolled up, an employee (which I presume was the owner), was outside smoking as one of their distributors was delivering an order.
Without any sort of greeting, I walked past him into the store and began making my way around the beer selection. Everything seem scattered all over the place — tons of bottles were unpriced and knocked over on their side. Overall the store was pretty messy, which is instantly a huge turn off for me.
They did have ONE beer that I was looking for, but since I was pretty turned off by the store experience, I decided to pass. Sorry, but there’s no excuse to ignore your customers and leave your best selling products a mess.
Perhaps I just looked like another college kid on his way to pick up their daily case of PBR so I didn’t get the proper treatment. Honestly, Midway Mart just seems like another C-​Store trying to stay-​a-​float by raking in money from the craft beer boom, but I guess Denton doesn’t have a whole lot of options.

Let me just call it like it is, Midway Mart is a terrible gas station but the most amazing beer store ever. This place is literally packed with every type of beer you can imagine and if they don’t have something the owner will gladly order it for you. Such a great place!

This is the absolute best selection of beer available in the metroplex that I’ve been able to find. In terms of having a good mix of local craft beers as well as a great selection of German beer (which I’m really into), they really have it all. Shawn is also really great at letting you know what he has in stock through things like Facebook and even a text message list he keeps.

I have honestly not seen a collection this large anywhere in recent memory. I just kinda wandered around for like twenty minutes. They have every beer i was hoping to find and many many many that i have never heard of. They even have the entire oskar blues line! Im really glad i found this place.

Why oh why have the beer gods not informed me of this place sooner? Yes I have several Unilocal friends who have graced these doors and I have driven by countless numbers of times not realizing what it was. Heck it’s a gas station… but being Denton, gas stations are not always what they seem. See Rasoi and La Estrella.
This place IS the place to purchase beer from all over the country and or world and at really decent prices. I picked up a sixer of Sessions Black Lager from Oregon for only $ 6.99. Nice. They have a good selection of large bottles too, not as much as Metzler’s carries but pretty good. There are also shirts for sale and signage stating that if you want any specialty beers just ask and they will try to get it in for you. Very accomodating.

I went to this gas station tonight to buy wine and beer. The have an extensive selection of different beer. Probably the best selection in Denton. I am a regular customer or I should say was a regular customer until tonight ⁷⁄₆. The cashier was incredibly rude. When I came to the counter with two bottles of wine he aggressively pointed at me and my friend who was in the store browsing and demanded our ID’s. I completely understand needing to see ID’s but the way this guy ordered a customer was totally unacceptable. I told him there was a way to properly ask and he threw my credit card at me and told me to get the F**k out of the store!!! I’m going to the police station tomorrow to press charges for assault.
As a business man I understand customer service and how people should be treated as human beings. I was treated like a piece of trash tonight. I sincerely hope management can correct the actions of the cashier tonight. This store has a great selection and is not a traditional big box which I really like and its a shame I cant continue to support this small business.

What can you say? This place sells a lot of beer. One of the best selections in Denton and one of the better selections I have ever seen at a gas station. You don’t come to Midway Mart for gas and snacks; you can get those cheaper someone else. You come for the awesome beer.

Wow, how did I not write a review for this place yet! I’m used to Bottleworks in Seattle and this place still amazes me with the selection. Customer service is awesome — I requested the Clutch sour and it was there the next week. Hell, I’ve even bought gas here.
I dearly hope that this place takes a page from a Redmond establishment I’ve seen and becomes a hybrid carryout-​corkage store where there is some inside seating to enjoy the beers in store for a small corkage fee. If that’s legal in TX…

Best place to get beer– hands down! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that can always help with recommendations if they’re out of something or (on very rare occasion) don’t carry something. Reasonable pricing for beers are that impossible to find elsewhere. It can get a bit crowded in there, but it’s not like you go there to hang out anyways.
