I was charged a $ 30 diagnostic fee and was not made aware of this until I went to pick up my vehicle. When I asked Edwin about this charge he responded with «well, I could have charged you an additional diagnostic fee for looking at your brakes…» Very unprofessional.

You can’t do better than Will Jameson and Ryan for maintenance department leadership. They are why I will always buy from James Woods!!!

Everyone there is very nice and pleasant to do business with. However, when I called and booked my appt they told me over the phone it would take 90 min max… 2 hours later I still didn’t have my car. It was done, however, it had been sitting at the car wash. I waited about 10 – 15 more min and decided I wasn’t waiting any longer for a car wash. The service girl was very nice and apologetic and wrote on my receipt that they owe me a car wash. Not a huge fan of the 2 hour wait. thankfully I had a baby sitter and didn’t have my child with me BUT I was also paying for a sitter. Once I got home my tire sensor is now not working. They said I could go back and it would take 5 min to fix. still haven’t made it up there, but wish it could have been double checked prior to me getting home!

Used car salesmen are, well, used car salesmen. And then there are the diamonds in the rough like Chase Whaley. What a pleasant person and buying experience.
It’s no wonder this dealership has been around for 30+ years. The haggling is minimal, pricing is fair (well, you want to think so!), and they are all about the customer.
I purchased a used SUV and they had it detsiled – twice-​to get to my standards.
Selection in new and used cars means you never have to leave the lot to find your dream vehicle.

What a wonderful experience dealing with Phillip Hairston. We communicated several times by email and text. Phillip was aware I was looking between 2 brands and several dealers closer to my house. Phillip kept in constant communication with what he had in stock. While at another dealership I received a text from Phillip. I know your visiting several dealers before you come to James Wood let me know if I can answer any questions. I had several questions He answered. He had the same model and color that I was looking at. We decided to visit Phillip and was in and out in 3 hours. We agreed on a price in less that 10 min. There was no pressure to upgrade. Phillip was so personal we spent most of the time chatting about towns we’ve visited and restaurants in Texas while waiting on the car to be detailed and inspected. Only negative I have was with the finance Manager. I have a credit rating in the 800’s. The finance manager said you have excellent credit we got you a 3.39 interest rate. I had already worked with my bank and the going rate is 2.19. I told him he was crazy my bank is offering 2.19. He then looked at the screen and said I can get you 2.39 with Ally. I’m sure he has some kick back if he gets a higher rate. I highly recommend Phillip if you want a fantastic sales person who will get you a fair price. Do your homework on interest rate I cant give 5 stars to the finance manager.

We have purchased 4 vehicles at this location in the last few years. Our salesman Dave Stafford takes great care of my wife and I when we come in. We aren’t high rollers that come in and just point at a car and say we are going to purchase that one, that doesn’t matter to Dave. He treats us with respect and does not belittle anyone in the process. Those are the main reasons we keep coming back. We have had issues in the service department before but were resolved quickly when the department manager called to handle it. Otherwise a great salesman and place to do business.

Awesome experience buying a vehicle. I corresponded with someone via email to find the right vehicle at the best price within 100 miles. They weren’t pushy when signing the paperwork to buy extra coverage or insurance, but instead just gave the info and thanked me for my business. They also took the time to show me additional features before I pulled off the lot.
I highly recommend using them if you are in the market for a new vehicle.

Issue resolved! My original salesman Derrick Walker took care of that pesky chip on my door handle. If you’re in need of a vehicle, come to Mr. Walker. He took care of us when we made our purchase and his awesome service extended beyond just the point of sale. I’m a happy customer again :-)

I took both my car and my daughter’s last Saturday. I have to say that the service at James Wood Denton is fantastic. Both Jarrett and Tammy are wonderful to work with and give great customer service.

There aren’t negative stars si this pave gets 1star.. upon arrival I was met a salesman who asked what I was looking for. I told him a 2015 suburban because the body style ids changing. .when I told him that I want sure where I would buy and that I wasn’t sure I even wanted a suburban he informed me and my kids that «he was a commissioned salesman» and that he had a returning customer inn service that he needed to go talk to because he would be buying something because I obviously wasn’t. .he then Gore’s and gets a porter open cars for me to look and left… I told the porter that I knew nothing about the cats and needed more info ago I could decide what to get, he said he didn’t know about them other than they drive nice! And said he would get someone for me… and never returned… then a guy showed up from the Cadillac place and helped me (he was awesome)!
My advice don’t bother with the Chevrolet sales guys at James woods… drive somewhere else…

My sales advisor was Dave Stafford. Dave was outstanding in every way. His dedication and patience far exceeded my expectations. Corvette buyers are a sometimes, «peculiar,» group — and always very particular about what they want. Dave made my 2014 Corvette Stingray a reality and I am indebted to him and grateful to all those at James Wood that helped make my new ‘Vette a reality.

Love working with the sales and service people here. Tami is my service advisor and is great. Came in for oil change and left within 30 minutes. Thanks James Wood and staff.

I was there about 30 — 45 minutes wanting to look at Cadillac’s and no one asked if they could help me. Two or three sales persons said «hi» but no one ask «Can I help you». I began to make it a game just to see how long it would take someone to ask if the could help me. I would go outside and look through the windows on several cars and watch for a sales person to come then go back inside to the showroom. I did this about four times. Finally one sales person said «I am assuming you are waiting on a car in the shop», I said no «I am wanting to look at Cadillac’s but no one has offered to help me». I said normally sales persons are all over you when you start to look but that was not the case by a long shot. I did buy an ATS that day.

Great customer service!

This was actually my first «new» car purchase and Chase was great to work with — he really listened to what I need as well as what I wanted. Love my new Cruze and look forward to working with Chase and company in the years to come.
