I recently closed on a 12 year old home that was built by Fox/​Jacobs. I removed the carpeting on the second story for replacement. I found that builder used two kinds of sub flooring in one room. Their thicknesses were not equal and the edges of thicker sheets were ground with a sander. These sheets also looked like they were recycled from another job. So sad to see such lack of concern.
