History

Established in 1982.

In 1982, Hal Farmer earned the trust of, Charles Allen, his family’s long time State Farm Agent in Farmers Branch, Texas. Charles tested Hal by having him attempt to repair a chronic leak at his personal residence in Addison. After several attempts, Hal successfully completed the job which no one else had been able to fix. This is when the mentorship between the two began. Charles took the time to explain what to say and what not to say to his policy holders. «Just call it like it is and don’t be like many other Roofers in the Dallas Metroplex and think every roof has damage,» was Allen’s lesson to Hal. With much valued wisdom, Hal and Allen began their working relationship. Over the next several years, Charles referred Farmer Roofing to hundreds of his clients with nothing but compliments from them.

Soon the word spread about Farmer’s commitment to his agency. Before long, many local Dallas/​Fort Worth Agents began to trust Farmer Roofing to inspect roofs of potential claims.

Vice President Of Operations, Mark Lenzer was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Attended St. Monica Catholic School at Midway and Wallnut HIll in Dallas for grade school & JJ Pearce high school in Richardson TX, before going on to obtain his bachelors and Master’s degrees from the University of North Texas in Denton.
