History

Established in 1908.

In 1950, Terrill Wheeler purchased one of Denton’s oldest printing companies, The McNitzky Printing Co., established in 1908. At that time, the name of the company was changed to Terrill Wheeler Printing. In 2010 Eagle Press founded in 1984 merged with Terrill Wheeler printing. The company offically changed its name to Eagle & Wheeler. Today, Eagle & Wheeler is a multi-​faceted company incorporating traditional printing and mailing services along with design, advertising and digital media — both business to business and business to consumer. A combination of three Denton businesses — Eagle Press, North Texas Mailing and Wheeler Press — with mergers completed in 2010, our company has been serving the North Texas community for a combined total of 145 years.
