From the moment I walk in the door and hear my footsteps on the wooden floor, I expect to see Barney Phife staked out behind the paint cans waiting to nab one of the Darling boys. This wonderful local hardware store has a good selection for it’s size and a staff of good people who want to help you. They go more than the extra mile and they never try to over sell your price range. Of course they can’t compete with Lowes or Home Depot’s prices, but they are five miles from my door and I get to support a local business that in turn supports their customer’s needs.

Solid hardware store with a helpful and friendly staff. Prices are a bit high, but it beats driving 17 miles to get to the big box hardware store.

I LOVE the smell of a hardware store. Add in the hardwood floors of Denton Hardware and you are transported to a time when Saturdays were spend doing yardwork and kids were sent to the hardware store on their bike to get nuts and bolts.
The staff is helpful, the selection is growing and it is a place where locals meet and talk about the weather.
