Eh. I go here all the time. 4⁄5 times they give me a roll instead of a biscuit, even when I say it like 3 times I would like a biscuit. Even the receipts say biscuit on them. I receive a roll. I eat the roll with a frown, knowing I could be eating a biscuit. But maybe I am the one who should receive 3 stars since I am okay with it? I keep coming back regardless because I have a corn nugget addiction and fried chicken is bae, no matter how mediocre it is. Also, drive thru is a huge plus when I don’t feel like wearing pants. 3⁄5 stars for the restaurant and for the quality of my life.

It’s fast-food. Do not expect much. I ordered combo 2 with 7 tenders and side and a large drink. The lady asked me what do I want for the size twice, so I thought it comes with 2 sides. But it’s not. She charged the drink separately. Not a big deal. The chicken is salty, not really tender in mu opinion. Their batter is ok, not too heavy. The oil they used, however, has a little weird smell. I also taste a bit buttery in there. The cole slaw taste weird and smell weird to me. French fries are good. The service is nice. They greet and say good bye and have been very attentive.

I went with my son — who loves coupons — and we got good service. I love fried chicken and get it all over the place. We got good chicken, not too heavily breaded, but the tea was way too sweet even for sweet tea, and the mashed potatoes were paste. Mashed potatoes at fast-food fried chicken places are never going to be great though. It wasn’t the best fast food chicken ever but I’d go back, no problem. I loves me some fried chicken.

We went there thirty minutes before close and ordered two number ones. We ended up getting 6 or 7 chicken strips each. But we didn’t get any mashed potatoes. Instead, we each got two containers of gravy. Really?

I’ve been four times with one being great, one being barely passable, and the other two being horrible. I’ve been overcharged and to compensate me they gave me a bunch of shriveled up tenders. The other time I got fries with my meal and they obviously used oil from fried fish. If you get a four piece expect at least one tiny, shriveled tender because it has been like that every time I have gone.

Was generally fast service, and I even got two rolls instead of one! I got the orca for the side and it was amazing. wish the chicken strips weren’t as big though. They sometimes can be thick, but that didn’t mess up the meal much at all. I will be back

Had a craving so this is the closest location. Frieda and chicken tenders were DRY&TINY. Asked for a handful of the spicy serendipity salt and they gave us 3 for two orders. Their sweet tea usually hit the spot but this location had a taste of greased sweet tea. So disgusting. Never again at this location.

Unless you like to pay $ 250 to have your car towed after eating don’t EVER come here. Scum of the earth«Stan’s Towing» camps out here and constantly watches surveillance cameras for people that park their car here that are considered«non paying customers». Well I was definitely a paying customer at one time. Never again. I ate here and walked over the Naranja Café(across the street) to grab a desert drink and visit with a friend for a bit. While we were there Stan’s towing managed to nab my car. Weren’t even there a total of 30 mins and it was gone. Is this how you treat paying customers!!! $ 250 to get my car out of the impound. I’m still blown away. This Chicken Express is really shooting themselves in the foot and loosing core clientele this way. Way to go guys, keep it up and you’ll be out of business in no time.

Very yummy catfish and within walking distance from campus. All the drinks are the same price so you can get a large instead of a medium without paying a few extra cents, yay! My one complaint is that the guy behind the counter was WAY too excited to be there. Turned me off a bit and scared me a little. But that could just be me.

I personally love Chicken-E but I feel like the service and quality here has continued to decline. The meals I have ordered have ridiculously small tenders and they have decided to quit the practice of adding extra tenders to make up for really small ones. This has left me feeling ripped off and taken advantage of. One of the tenders I received was literally one bite and then it was gone. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Excellent customer service — the girl at the counter was extremely friendly and mentioned the chicken tenders daily special, which I tried. Tasty, juicy tenders. Biscuit is fairly small but comes with a big portion of tasty white gravy. They offer different sides — don’t get the cheese sticks, though. Only two of them, small and oddly hard on the outside. Taking off a star for that but otherwise a great stop. Also, be sure to get some packets of the Serindipity Salt.

Chicken E is like crack. My inner fat kid’s crack. Second only to Babe’s Chicken, their light and oh-so-crispy delicious tenders will send your taste buds into a whirlwind of pleasure. I like ‘em best dipped in the gravy with one pack of Hot Serendipity Salt mixed in… you’ve just gotta love a place with secret little seasonings and multitudes of special sauces. Wash those down with their famous sweet tea and you’ve got yourself a meal! Super secret hint: they always give you far more Hot Serendipity packs then you’ll need… take them home and use them when cooking. They help make a mean chili base and spice up eggs just right!

I don’t usually review fast food restaurants nor do I step foot into them but this occasion was exceptional due to the uneventful rolling blackouts all over Texas. With no way to cook, the hubs and I decided to go to chicken express for the first time. We were told that the food was gonna take a while to be served due to the blackouts. We sat down for 20 minutes and still no sign of fast food. So we told the employees nicely about our order and they were so apologetic about it. Few minutes later they gave us a huge plate of food which did not look like what we ordered. But of course, they were so thoughtful to give us extra food for forgetting our order. Great fresh chicken tenders, with soft fluffy biscuit and refreshing coleslaw makes this place a winner. The great customer service is an added bonus! There’s no way where you will be able to get this kind of service in Mcdonalds!

This is a good Chicken Express location. The interior is painted green and there is UNT memorabilia everywhere in the store. There are always good coupons for this Chicken Express through the campus special website:
