Established in 2010.

I began my professional career as a mechanic working and being trained in the automotive dealer environment. I took my skills to Danny’s Import Service in Lewisville where I worked for the 13 years. Danny’s has a reputation for honesty and fair prices as well as skilled technician staff. Many of our customers came from the Denton area for expert service and great prices. I chose to go out on my own and take that same mentality and compassion for people to Denton!

Originally from Pennsylvania I came to Texas to study aviation at LeTourneau University. I have since fallen back on what I truly love… meeting the needs of the people in my community when they need honest professional advice and fair prices on car repairs and maintenance. After 13 years working in a family small business, Danny’s Import in Lewisville, I have come to Denton to share my passion for people and cars.

Excellent Service. Competitive pricing. Most importantly they are HONEST about what needs to be fixed versus what doesn’t need to be fixed. Initially went to a local place in Flower Mound, and I was told a ton of repairs were needed and it would be $ 1,000 — basically the sky is falling. When I took it to All About Imports, Jason actually showed me that the previous claims were false, and that I only needed a few things for less than half the cost of the previous place. I highly recommend Jason and the folks at All About Imports.

Yeah, this place is awesome. The owner is intelligent, honest and works fast. I brought my car in for an oil change and a transmission fluid change, he did the work quickly and at a reasonable price, and he also fixed a dent that had been in my front bumper for years! He just popped it out, put the screw back in and voila! Amazing! I will definitely continue to go here for all of my automobile needs.

We are in town on business, and our alternator went out on our Maxima. We called Jason Rupert at 10 am. He called us back with a quote less than 10 minutes later, and the price was only ²⁄₃ of what the other places we checked were estimating for parts and labor. We arrived soon and dropped our car off. We were very happy with how nice Jason was and the appearance of the lobby. I don’t know if you have ever waited in a car repair shop lobby, but most are not much to look at; All About Imports’s lobby was very nice and had a plethora of magazines, water, and a T.V. IT only took him a few hours to repair our car, and we were very pleased with the job he did. I would highly recommend All About Imports, you can tell he is passionate about what he does and charges a very fair price!

Maybe I’m a bit biased — Jason was at Danny’s Import Service for 13 years, and he’s worked on almost every car I’ve owned, except for my first. Everybody at Danny’s had the same ethic — do the job right the first time, use quality parts (usually OEM), treat the customer like family, keep them informed of everything. I was on a first name basis with everyone at Danny’s, but Danny’s only works on Honda/Acura — and I’ve owned a Nissan for the past year and a half. I used Danny’s for about 12 years.
I moved to Denton this month, and needed my car fixed in a hurry today. Started looking on Unilocal for shops and my jaw dropped when I saw Jason had opened his own shop in Denton. One that works on more than just Honda/Acura.
Jason remembered me when I called and had me bring my car in. I wound up being somewhat wrong about the issue, but Jason is a no-nonsense, no-BS guy. He told me about an issue that will need attention in a few months (one I already suspected — a motor mount, and told me I can wait for awhile on it), but said the car was otherwise in good shape. Got the parts we needed delivered, got them installed quickly, and he’s beyond fair with pricing. I’m a car guy in general, and had a list of things I suspected wrong — he spent a lot of time ruling out everything he could until he pinpointed the issue.
The best part about everything? Jason has completely stolen Danny’s ethics — do it right the first time, use quality parts, treat the customer like family. In this case, theft is a good thing.
You may find larger shops, you may find higher volume shops, you may find cheaper shops But finding an honest shop is next to impossible. If you’re in Denton, All About Imports is as good as they get.

My car was acting up and not starting, I contacted Jason at All About Imports and I told him over the phone my make/model and issue. Although my make of car is not something that he typically works on, he was willing to walk me through what might be the problems. Once identified he told me that even though my model is not one that he works on that he felt like this is something that he could fix for me. I took it in the next day, the shop was clean and Jason was very friendly. Someone I felt I could trust (which is sometimes hard in the car world). My car was fix later that afternoon, the price was very fair and reasonable and the work was done correctly. If my car has issues in the future I will call Jason first (even if he doesn’t work on my make).
