Not a bad place, good for the money and location. The only complaints I have ate that I don’t think they pay the cleaning crew enough cause 1: under both of the beds were some unfortunate past guests shoes 2: when opening the«freezer«found previous guests ice cream. A little updating could go a long way… in their advertising they say«6 generations have owned and ran the property«I believe it cause the room was straight out of the 70’s.

You can not beat this location for the price. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and the efficiency rooms have a great kitchenette. The grounds are really nice, very well kept and clean pools. Walk to the beach, The Wee Packet, Sundae School, and a few other restaurants. We arrived on a Friday and did not get back into the car until we left on Sunday afternoon. Great place!!!

It’s cheap for Cape Cod, and it has everything you need within walking distance of the beach – that’s a winner to me. I stayed there last year toward the end of the season. It’s located in a really cute part of Dennis Port within walking distance to the beach, ice cream, some bars and plenty of breakfast places. There’s both an indoor and outdoor pool, which is very handy because my late night swim was a bit chilly. The following morning, after check out, I lounged in the sun by the outdoor pool before heading back home. The room was perfectly adequate, but nothing fancy. For about $ 100, I got two double beds, tv(with remote – why is that always such a selling point?), table and two chairs, pink bathroom and a small closet space. My only two complaints about the room, besides the lack of fridge, was that I couldn’t find a way to adjust the temperature. I went for a swim at about 9:30pm, and then was freezing cold while I waited for my hair to dry. I don’t have a hair dryer and there wasn’t one in the room, so I just crawled under the covers and waited to be warm again. Also, the day that I was there, the wi-fi wasn’t working and the girl at the front desk didn’t know how to fix it, so that was a bit annoying. This place is not fancy, but it’s family-friendly and you shouldn’t be staying in a fancy hotel at the cape anyway!

Located in one of the nicest and coziest places in Dennis Port directly off 28, this place is one of the better spots to stay on the Cape! First off the places is very well maintained and the rooms, although dated are immaculate and quite large. The grounds include two pools both indoor and out and heated. Plus they have motel rooms, efficiencies and cottages. The staff is very helpful and friendly and welcoming. The locations sits down the road from Sundae School Ice Cream, which is very popular and a few other smaller restaurants and is about a quarter of a mile from Depot Beach which is one of the public beaches. However, Dennis makes it difficult to park near their beaches by requiring a permit from the town hall which is only open Mon-sat so you could walk but these beaches have no facilities and no lifeguards. The best thing about this motel is the price. On a busy 4th of July weekend, I paid about half of what the other hotels down the street were charging for the same types of rooms. On the Cape you are barely in the rooms anyway so why take out a second mortgage to have to stay somewhere and be taken advantage of. Try this place out and you will be pleasantly surprised!
