Tupelo Honey Bar & Grill

Like honey this place is addictive. Not a huge selection of food on the menu but the way they make what they do have they don’t need a large selection. I honestly can’t tell which entrée is my favorite they’re all good. Very friendly and attentive waitstaff, very good drinks not cheap on the liquor. Lots of TV’s to catch all the games. Very good drinks specials not to mention darts, pool and live music. The prices are so reasonable. The kind of place that could become your favorite bar. This was my second visit and there will be a third.

If you’re going for a place to hang out on the weekend in this area, it’s good for that. Decent beer. Decent bands. Great building. It isn’t the same closed off, stuffy atmosphere you got with previous ownership. Tupelo may be doing something right. Maybe they’ll stay long enough for this area to really enjoy it for what it is.

Had lunch there and was absolutely the worst burger I have ever had. Bun was at least 3 days old and dry and falling apart before I touched it. Ordered the Tupelo burger which was supposed to be spiced up a little but was just an over cooked patty with no flavor.

I never write Unilocal reviews but this place deserves recognition! Such an amazing place! From the outside Tupelo Honey looks just like a small little restaurant bar, but after you walk through the doors and see it all for the first time the place is HUGE! There’s a game room with pool tables. The main room has amazing tall ceilings and one of the best looking bar tops I have ever seen. And there is a wall that opens up to an amazing patio! It’s a very large space great for any occasion whether it be dinner with 5 friends or 50! Nice stage area and great sound system. The only drawback are the trains but when I was there and heard a band they actually incorporated the train whistles in their songs which was great.
Now for food… delicious. Chicken fried steak was huge and amazing. I have had the pleasure of having most of the appetizers and they are all great! Fried mushrooms and jalapeños are my personal favorites. Now it’s time to talk burger. I had a bite of my buddies burger and it almost made me regret my choice of chicken fried steak. It was perfectly cooked juicy and delicious I will be ordering one when I come back. It’s not all just fried food they also have salads and other healthy options (not what I was looking for that day). There is something for everyone on the menu.
Staff was very nice and took care of us. My glasses of water and Beer were never empty long. Prices were way cheaper than I expected and me and my friends will be returning.

Man, f#ck this place! I’m asked for a $ 5 cover when they close in less than 30 minutes! When running a new business you don’t ask them for a $ 5 cover (especially if that doesn’t include a drink from the bar). You bring Eric Church or a great little touring rock group into this place and I’ll sure as hell throw down $ 5, but not just to sip on a lone star and talk with some friends for less than hour. Asking $ 5 from customers at the door draws them away from the door not into it. It’s not welcoming and very rude.
Oh…btw, I still paid the b.s. $ 5 cover and it still was no where close to a mediocre neighborhood bar…

Yuuuck. The food is gross, the service is bad, and the management is rude. My mom had the pizza and it was inedible. I wouldn’t go back if you paid me.

Prices are reasonable and food is not bad, just plain. I had the brisket tacos. Brisket on a flour tortilla with a little cheese. It had some fried onions as well but you don’t really notice them. The brisket had decent flavor but it was really dry. My wife had a chicken sandwich. It was pretty basic. Nothing special. It’s a great idea in a cool location but the food needs more imagination.
