Open Sundays and After Hours By Appointment! Excel Tax and Consulting Services came to be when it’s owner, Tanya Gaborit, decided while working for H&R Block that the tax preparation fees where getting out of hand. After years of enduring a franchisee who didn’t care about client complaints and concerns Tanya decided to open her tax consulting business. In 2014 tax preparation was added to help address the biggest market concern when it came to tax preparation, «Skyrocketing Fees».

An Enrolled Agent, Tanya is always looking out for her clients before, during and after the tax season. And looks forward to a long term relationship with her clients.

Tanya is an IRS Enrolled Agent who previously managed 5 H&R Blocks in the North Western Iowa area. This included the offices in Cherokee, Storm Lake, Spirit Lake, Sheldon and Spencer. In managing she learned to care for her clients and address their concerns. Tanya is skilled in IRS audits and is permitted to practice before the IRS in tax matters.
