Turlock Amtrak

It’s a great place to catch the train but not to leave your car here. My Mom unfortunately got her car broken into while doing so. So a word to the wise, have someone drop you off and pick you up if you can. Don’t want it to happen to you.

If you need to grab Amtrak between Ballico and Hughson in the central valley of CA, this is the closest stop. Not much here, however there is a ticket kiosk for those that are smartphoneless. The train is on-​time, and the area around the station stop is clean and clear from the recent rebuild due to the monstrous derailment in 2013.
Quick-​stop amenities about a block away southwest and southeast, but that is about it. This is an On-​Only, with Fresno or Stockton being the closest stops with any interest and/​or availables.
