Vino Van Gogh Wine and Art Bar

I love Vino Van Gogh. Every time I go the staff is very friendly, attentive and makes sure you have a good time. They allow you to bring your own drinks and food or they have beer, wine and some snacks. I will continue coming here and recommend everyone to come check it out. Great date place, or for people that want to learn how to paint. I even bought a few paintings that they had at the front, done by the instructors for decoration around my house.

I’ve been to a few other places like Vino Van Gogh and I felt like the instructor did not take the proper time to teach the particular step in our painting. My group felt very rushed and she didn’t come around to see what we were doing or if we needed help.

Not being any type of artist I wasn’t sure what to expect here. The best part about Vino is the people who work there. They get it. This is not a serious art class where you have to worry about your technique or being judged on your work. They want you to have fun. You can bring snacks and wine on your own or they have beverages for purchase. The class is fun and they walk you through the painting where I was actually able to do a half decent job. Really fun place to go.

I don’t like to give bad reviews (this is my first), but I’m super upset about what happened for our holiday party. We had a 6:30 time booked and were called about 2 hours before the scheduled time and were asked to come at 7:30 instead (a voice message was left at my office which comcast is trying to retrieve). We called back and left a message stating that it would not work out for us (some of us have kids and we just couldn’t push it back to 7:30pm). Well, I still got charged on my credit card $ 175! Left numerous messages for someone to get back to us a couple weeks ago. Spoke with Tracy who stated she would get back to us, but are still waiting for a call back from last week. Very upset about how this is being handled. One of us even took a picture of the calendar showing our time was at 6:30 (she deleted from phone and is trying to retrieve it from the cloud (hoping she can to prove to Tracy who was arguing with us that they never schedule at 6:30). It’s a shame because I was excited to try this place for the first time especially after a friend told me she had so much fun there a couple of times. She won’t be returning and I am not willing to try it out.

This place is a cute group outing. We went as a work function for a team building exercise.
They can provide you with wine — they will sell you it there — but you are best off bringing a bottle of wine or beer and some glasses for yourself. I suggest grabbing a growler from a local brewery on your way in. Next door is the Beer Trade Co as well, and you can get food from them also. A lot of the places will bring you food as you paint.
Pay attention to the picture being painted the night you come in. But also know, if you really don’t love it, you can change it. I flipped mine a different orientation and also ignored like 50% of the instructions because I didn’t like the flowers on the beach. You are freestyling here, so you are open to make it whatever you want. Just don’t expect a masterpiece if you don’t have art skills. They will instruct you to make it look pretty decent, but mine isn’t hanging on my wall!
This would be a lot of fun with a group. I personally wouldn’t go often because what I create there isn’t really something I want to hang in my house though.

Went to Tuesday class and had an amazing time! It was a group of two and we did the sugar skulls class. The instructor made it very easy and very fun! I had such a great time I booked two more classes! The atmosphere is very calming and everyone was «in the zone» I was so thankful that there wasn’t any crazy teens making a scene! It’s a bring your own wine which is fine just wish I knew that a head of time. But now I know for my future classes! Delivery dudes delivers there so it’s perfect to order food while you are painting!

I came here for a birthday party and was sooo excited! I had never heard of this place before but byob and paint? Sounds awesome to me. I had the best time ever and this was probably the first time I’ve painted since like middle school lol… There’s a teacher who walks you through each step and comes around and helps you if you have questions. Everyone was welcoming upbeat and definitely ready to show all of us a good time… It was so relaxing to just enjoy the moment, learn something new, and basically take a break from the stresses of life. This place is it’s own form of meditation haha. I’ll definitely be back sooner than later and often!

Had a great time tonight at Vino Van Gogh! We sang, we laughed, we painted! Matt and Tracy have the best place around! Love to support their local small business! Keep up the good work at Vino Van Gogh!

Had a great time at Vino and Van Gogh last night with the wife on a date night — she took her mother one other time, and decided even color blind I might have fun with enough wine smile emoticon Good time, and everyone had fun, so got to make a few more friends — don’t all our friends start as strangers? Really fun. No coat check… We live in Florida… Just a great date or girls night out kinda place. Might make a good holiday party for fun.

Such a great place! The owners are so amazing! Easy to follow guidance for those of us are artistically challenged! Absolutely recommend anyone to come here! Great date night idea!

I had a nice time here with some co-​workers. We came here on a Sunday night as an out of work get-​together.
The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They do have drinks including wine as well as snacks for purchase. The staff comes around to help and see if you need anything.
The person who was instructing is painting at the same time. They tell and show you what to do. The room is able to hold a good sized amount of people.
Overall it was a really fun experience.

I came here with my mother in law, and she had such a great time that she plans on bringing her girlfriends here.
Our instructor Alex was awesome! You can get a glass of wine for $ 5 or bring your own, if you go in a group of 3 or more I recommend bringing a bottle to enjoy.
We painted a peacock which came out really cute. There are plenty of parking spaces on the street. It’s off of Atlantic Ave so if you arrive early you can walk around and do a little shopping before (my mother in law and I almost didn’t make it out of a shoe boutique lol). They have a 2:30 slot and a 7:00 slot, we went in the afternoon. If you go in the afternoon you can walk to Atlantic Ave afternoons for dinner or happy hour!
This would be a fun place for a bachelorette party or birthdays. You can book/​buy your tickets online, they make it super easy.

I came here with a few friends to celebrate my birthday last week and we had the best time! It’s a great location and the shop has such good vibes. We painted Gerber daises, had some wine and listened to music. We payed $ 30 and the class lasted about 2 hours. Well worth it! I can’t wait to do it again :)

I had a really good time at Vino Van Gogh. I met up with a few friends for a painting night. (You register online before hand). We brought snacks, drinks (wine) etc… and they provide the canvas and brushes and paint. The artist walks you though each step and has music playing as you paint. It was a nice was to tune out for two hours. I wish I would have worn crappier clothes because you can get a bit of paint on you if you are clumsy like me. I recommend this for date night or girls night out. I will do again for sure!

A fun night out, especially for a group of friends. No artistic talent is required; just the commitment to relax, enjoy yourself, and let whatever happens on your canvas be part of the experience!
The owners are friendly and encouraging, the atmosphere is casual, and an artist leads you through your chosen painting, step-​by-​step. You all start out looking sort of the same, and then the masterpieces transform into individual statements of art, which can either be very frustrating or an interesting adventure — depending on how much of a control freak or perfectionist you are ;-)
Bring your own wine and snacks or order from nearby places like Crepes by the Sea. (Note: a slip of concentration could have you popping your paintbrush into your wine cup and taking a swig of paintbrush water. More hilarity.)
Have been here twice in a group of about 10 friends, and both were evenings of laughter, creativity and interesting artistic expression. Highly recommend!

I love this place… no really, LOVE!!! It’s so much fun. You paint and drink wine (or beer) in the process and get to take home your masterpiece. You buy your seat which includes a canvas, the paint, and a glass of wine or beer. The first time I went was on a saturday night with a couple of friends. We weren’t 100% sure how this worked. Painting and drinking… hmmmmm, bring our own? You sure can! BYOB! And if you don’t, you can buy a bottle of wine right there for $ 12. You do get your first glass of wine free. Anyway, they teach you how to paint a piece of art, from beginning to end. It’s so much fun to see how it turns out, because everyone paints the same thing, but everyone’s comes out a little different. Owned by a husband and wife team who are always there. The teachers are really fun and upbeat and play music super loud to get you in the mood.
I also just ventured into their first wine glass painting class. So much fun too. You get two wine glasses and they teach you to paint them. It was their first class doing this, so it was a little rough around the edges. The owner ended up leaving and going to michaels to get more paint. Worked out great anyway. Can’t wait to drink out of my custom made glasses.

Great place for a date. You just have to show up and they provide all the supplies and you get a glass of wine while you paint. They are also cool with you bringing your own.
Each class can follow along with the instructor and learn how to paint a specific painting that was selected for that day. You can also go off the designated path and paint what ever you feel like. The instructor was really great about helping me get the paint mixtures I was looking for and giving me suggestions for creating the look I was trying to achieve.
Mind you, I’m the fartherest thing from a good painter, but it is more about the experience here. You get advice and can just relax without having any pressure about how it’ll turn out. Besides, the only way even start getting good is by putting paint on the canvas and learning as you go. You get a feel for the different brushes, mixing paints, applying paint the right way to your brush, and using different bursh strokes. Every mistake you make this time will only make you better next time.
This was my first time painting and my first time painting here. I’ll definitely come back again, soon.

We bought a daily deal and were quick to schedule the day featuring a super cute dog painting.
The place was easy to find and immediately upon walking in you feel welcome and appreciated.
The owner (husband) is so friendly and outgoing. The artist (can’t remember her name) was really awesome too.
They offer you whatever you want to drink: beer, wine, soda, water and graciously offer to fill it up for you when it goes empty.
The instructions from the artist were easy to follow and my BF and I both LOVE our paintings!!! And don’t be intimidated… we are complete novices.
If you are looking for something fun to do with your lover or friends, definitely look this up! It’s a blast!
