History

Established in 2011.

Established on Atlantic Ave in beautiful downtown Delray Beach in 2011 by two local childhood friends who saw a rapidly growing need to help the community with tech problems and use their years of expertise to offer Honest, Affordable technology repair and sales.

In August 2015 due to major building renovations we relocated our store just off the ave, one block west and one block south of our previous location @ 135 SE 5th Ave

I have used Smart Zone several times for cracked iphone screens. The owner is friendly, gives me a great price and fixes my phone quickly. I can’t see how anyone would give this place anything other than an outstanding review. No reply. I’m in West Boca, 15 miles away. Drive there, he’s with a customer so I sit down. He looks up…“Your part wont be in till mid August” I was SO mad… told him don’t bother, I’m out of here.
So, 3 trips, and not even a phone call. Thats the last time I go there.

I was told by various people to go here. I got my iPhone screen fixed and a day later it was cracked again. When I literally just pulled it out of my purse. When I called to ask what they could do they said they would replace it for another $ 100 when I had paid $ 130. Surprised by how customer service didn’t seem to matter considering I can imagine their cost on those screens is something like $ 10.

I took my computer here when it was having wifi issues, all they needed to do was open it up and check to see if it was the connections. Not only did it take an obscene amount of time for them to do this, but they also stripped the screws on my MacBook so the next people who went to fix it spent six hours just trying to open in. They advertise computer servicing but I wouldn’t trust them with anything more than a broken phone screen. I’m guessing that’s probably their forte and the majority of their business.

Paolo is the man… I smashed my iPhone 6 screen and googled screen repair. The smart zone popped up right on Atlantic Ave. I dropped in and before I knew it, in 5 minutes my phone was fixed with a brand new screen. Fantastic guy, fantastic service!

My iPhone 5 stopped charging, a day before I came down to Delray Beach for vacation, and I was facing the prospect of more than a week without a working phone. I found Smart Zone on Unilocal,came over and had it fixed in less than an hour, for a very reasonable price. The guy who works there is laid back and super competent, and had no problem juggling a bunch of other customers besides me. Highly recommended!

Broke my screen and touch screen no longer worked. Took him 5 mins go repair. When I left my speaker wasn’t working perfectly. Went back and he fixed that right away as well. Wish I knew about this place 4 broken iphone screens ago. Great place!!!

This morning I dropped my my phone and the whole screen cracked. I called Pola he fixed my screen in five mins and is price was very reasonable. Later that day my phone wouldn’t charge I called him and he told me to come back. We realized it was the actual charger and he gave me one for free. I def recommend this place if your phone is in need of a repair go see Pola!!! Thank you Pola for all your help.

What a fast and easy repair for what I thought was going to be a big headache! I dropped my brand new iPhone 5 and the screen smashed into hundreds of tiny pieces. I researched online what to do and thought I would have to order the screen and then pay someone else to replace it. I thought I was looking at a week turn around time and $ 200. I found Smart Zone right away, called and he told me he could fix it in 10 minutes! Sure enough, after I arrived to his nifty little shop right on Atlantic, I was out the door with my new phone in minutes! Only $ 99! With the way I damage phones, I will be back! :))

The owner may be really good but must of had a bad day or lacks customer service skills. My phone was completely dead. I guess I offended him by asking what his hours were (as we had walked their three times) and then asked about pricing in Delray Beach as I heard it was expensive. I’m from out of town and have to walk wherever I go. It went down hill from there even though I apologized and tried to explain myself. I was told the motherboard was bad and phone not worth it – so I walked back. A few hours later I thought I would try to boot the phone again and it came back but wouldn’t charge. SO I walked back up there to see what he thought was wrong. He gave me a quote. I said yes and then I asked him if he needed my number/​name. He replied negatively and again things went down hill. I was told to get the phone repaired elsewhere and yelled at. So take it for what its worth.

After my cell phone decided to malfunction, I called up Smart Zone after doing some Unilocal searching in my area. (I’m VERY tech savvy, so if I’m bringing my technology to someone else, there is a serious issue!)
The gentleman I spoke with over the phone told me he’d stay open a little later so I could come in after work to have my phone looked at.
When I arrived, I was greeted and told it would be a moment. The interior was very small with only about 3 – 4 chairs to sit in. The product selection on the wall was catered to iPhone users, mainly.
After discussing my issue, we came to the conclusion that my phone was just dead and there was nothing that could be done.
My overall thoughts, are, this is a nice little shop in Delray with honest people; I wouldn’t expect the best «customer service» attitude, though… they’re more laid-​back here. (Which is totally fine!)
