We came here last night for pizza and wine. Everything about it was perfect. The service was exceptional, the ambiance was beautiful, we could hear live music from right next door at a perfect decibel and the pizza may have been the best I’ve ever had. We had the tomato pie(New York style) and my initial thought when I was finished eating was«this is what they were trying to create when they invented pizza». It was a simple cheese pizza, then we put the Parmesan, the oregano, the crushed red pepper and the garlic salt on and it was perfection. And really that’s what it should be when you’re trying to showcase your pizza, get out of here with all your toppings. I realized that what it should come down to when judging a pizza is the 3 things nearly every pizza has in common. How is your dough? How is your sauce and how is your cheese? Well, their dough was perfect, their sauce was exquisite and their cheese was the best I can ever remember on a pizza. We have 4 more days here, I will be back to Luigi’s more than once during that time.

Their pizza and wings are almost the same as Anthony’s but they are not bad. The service is good and prices make of this place a good option for the kind of expensive Atlantic Avenue area. Will be back next time I’m visiting Delray Beach!

Stopped in for a late lunch and asked for a table for one. Ordered up a veggie panini with side salad and it came quickly and was HUGE. In fact, half the panini ended up being my dinner too that night. And the side salad was chock full of yummy olives, chickpeas, blue cheese… Not your regular side salad! The waitress was friendly and helpful, prices are reasonable for the location. I’ll be back!

Stopped in here for lunch. The Calzone was really good. I don’t know what it is but most places don’t cook then very well. However the one that I had here was awesome. Crust was soft but cooked well. Cheese(ricotta and mozzarella) was spot on and it had plenty of toppings(had pepperoni, mushrooms and Italian sausage). Would repeat often.

Nice staff but loved the speed of food and the anitpasto! Not traditional but worked for me! We ordered a basic pie — its the way to go. Quality drinks and nice ambiance. :)

Usually I would give this restaurant 5 stars but no way tonight. I tried calling ahead 30 min before arriving to put my name down on the list. I was told they could not do that. I get there and there is at least a 30 min wait, and there were 2 tables that were«reserved». No reservations but 2 tables reserved what? Waited over 30 min and decided to go some where else. Completely disappointed considering I am a local who usually visits frequently. I can say I will no longer.

BRICK-OVENPIZZA! Wonderful location in Delray right on Atlantic Ave. Food is fresh and good section. This location has been open almost two years now. I remember when they were building I couldn’t wait for them to open. The have a great outside patio seating area and an open concept inside restaurant. They have a full bar and many drink options. Highly recommend the Caprese to start with that pesto and fresh, fresh mozzarella cheese. Our table had individual pizzas and also a meatball sandwich that was plump and delightful. The service was great and we will return here!

Nice atmosphere, with friendly staff. Had the wings with caramelized onions and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Would recommend highly for visitors to the strip.

First time here and I was very pleased. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were greeted with our friendly waitress Carley who was full of energy and pleasant. The fried calamari came first. Lightly coated and fried perfectly! Tender and flavorful. Next, or Antipasto platter. It came with a variety of cheeses and meats, olives and roasted red peppers. It was a beautiful platter. I was however confused, being Italian, why there would be bologna on this beautiful display! I was disappointed by the absence of artichoke hearts that would have completed the true Italian version. I was excited when our pizza arrived. Since moving from up north I have not found many decent restaurants with a northern flair. Our pizza was amazing! A New York pizza was placed in front of me. I almost cried! The crust was perfect! The sauce. .outstanding! Mozzarella salami and Italian olive pizza! I will definitely be back. The best pizza I have had in 2 years! Keep up the good work! You never know who will walk into your restaurant ;)

Best pizza in delray!!! I’ve had 4 of their pizzas all were amazing. My favorite is the veggie pizza. If you like spicy try the spicy salami pizza. They also have great wings covered in italian spices and served with grilled onions. The waitstaff and managers are all very friendly. I highly recommend this place for big groups, families, casual dates etc. Since I first ate here I’ve been back almost once a week. On Mondays they have half off pizzas! They have a full bar and a list of signature drinks. Happy hour is 3 – 7 M-F and 3 – 6 Sat and Sun. Parking is tough. There’s a $ 10 lot across the street at nighttime. During the day your best bet is to park on the street. I ordered several of their pizzas for a surprise party and they were just as good as in the restaurant and they were made to order.

Luigi’s was a pizza place on my list that finally made it to; i’m pleasantly surprised and when I discovered. We ordered a house salad to share. The ingredients we’re amazing, crisp, and fresh. However, the salad was«under dressed» and not tossed enough. A little more flavor to the dressing and this could be one of the best pizza joint salads around. The kids we were with ordered the ham sandwich which was a nice panini with a generous portion of homemade chips. Luigi’s wings weren’t bad either; the wings were meaty and well cooked. I’d order them again. The main event obviously was the pizza. We opted for a large Margarita. The sauce was very good, the cheese quality was average, the crust and dough was good. I would order this pizza again, but with so many other good pizza options on or around the Ave., Luigi’s has to really dial in a few things. Last, our server Vinny was a nice guy and get attentive. I appreciated the good service!

Everything was okay, from the atmosphere to service and food. Nothing really stood out for me. We ordered a pepperoni pizza with a fried calamari appetizer and grilled cheese mozzarella. I had a couple of beers as well. I was somewhat disappointed in the calamari, which was more bread than calamari. The mozzarella grilled cheese was a tad too toasted. It was a Friday night and jam-packed. I did enjoy the company I was with and was able to engage in pleasant conversation. This place lends itself to that. Plus, it’s a good people-watching place.

It went from 5 stars down to 3 in my book, they must have gotten a new pizza guy. It’s just good now, not great, I will try it again and see whats what.

We had the pizza and the kids portion of penne pasta in marinara. There was only about a dozen or so people in the place as it was already 10 o’clock at night on a Tuesday. I’m not sure how, but my pizza margarita came out already cool to the table. It was tasty, but didn’t sit well in my stomach later. I’ve included a picture of the kids portion Penne pasta. Note to kitchen staff: sauce in Italian cooking is a condiment, not an entrée… The pasta is not supposed to be swimming in it where you’re looking for each penne like it’s an adventure«Find Waldo» treasure hunt.

Absolutely the worst dining experience I have ever had. We ate on a holiday weekend on a Sunday when it was NOT busy. Service was beyond awful. Our waiter was so slow and not attentive. We constantly had to ask for things from other servers. We finally had to give our card to another server to run. The waitress gave our card to our waiter and he proceeded to walk around and straighten tables before he even ran it. Finally we were able to leave and I went to get the car while my Mom went to find the manager to mention our disappointment. As she walked to meet me at the car our waiter proceeded to chase her out into the street and cuss her out. Literally, in the middle of Atlantic Ave, he stood there cussing her out. Everyone saw… cops were called. Needless to say it left us very upset. Besides the service, the food was sub par. The wings tasted like charcoal and were served cold. Pizza was sub par.

I came here for happy hour on Friday. It only lasts until 7 p.m., so we had to hurry up and order since we arrived around 6:15 p.m. The staff was incredibly nice, and the food was delicious. We ordered two appetizers and a pizza. We had the caprese salad, Mozzarella in Carrozza and Margherita Napolentana(The Original of Napoli). All the food was plenty for three of us to share. I also really liked the staff was incredibly friendly to our pup. They offered us a doggy bowl without asking. Also, many of the servers came by to pet and play with her. Overall, I loved the food and service. I’ll definitely come back for happy hour again soon!

Terrible! Why would anyone who lives in Delray come to this place, when you can go to Anthony’s a mile away? We had a soggy limp cheese pizza, a watery salad, and small tough calamari. Ordered from Delivery Dudes, so you can always expect things to be less then perfect due to travel time, but this was poor. We get take out from Anthony’s and it’s always amazing. Don’t bother!!!

I tried this place last weekend kinda early in the evening. Sat outside and it was nice. I’d be afraid to sit outside around 8 or so because its next to the«biker» bar and the music is as loud as a jet engine. Waitress was good. Got the Caprese and tasted nice. Pizza with meatballs was good. Nothing to write home about but it was good to say the least. I wish I had more to say. I mean, nothing bad. Nothing to brag about either. If you want pizza and you are downtown you have to try it. I certainly wont stay away from it. I think I’d like to try some other things there. Update: Been there another time. I like it. Great taste and«texture» Again, be careful of that biker bar. Live band goes on around 8. I think concerts arent as loud and if you are at the western tables, you are a few feet from it. Sit inside if its after 7ish
