Starting seeing her because of some tummy issues and have continued because I’ve had such great improvements even in my mood and other things. I get treatments almost weekly and love every moment of it

Liz is awesome! I Never did acupuncture before but after getting back from a weekend cruise I encountered some vertigo that was not going away. I did some research and came across acupuncture. I called Liz she was very nice and informative within her 15 min consult. After my first session with her I felt 100% better. I was so amazed and could not be happier that my dizziness had completely stopped right after I left my appt. I could not believe how fast and affective Acupunture was for me. I’m so happy and highly recommend Liz for your Acupunture needs.

I have been getting treated by Dr. Liz for about a month and a half and could not be happier! Just about two months ago I started havig anxiety (never had it at all before) so it was really new and scary for me. I knew that I did not want to start taking any kind of medication so I looked into alternative methods of treatment and upon having a couple suggestions for acupuncture, I decided to try it.
I am so thankful that I came across Dr. Liz as she has helped and coached me through the ups and downs. Her kind spirit speaks wonders. I also really appreciate the fact that she stays with you the whole time you are getting treated instead of leaving you. Every time I go in, I can tell she genuinely cares and listens to help and doesn’t make me feel rushed at all.

Prior to getting treatment from Liz Newman, I had tried traditional acupuncture. Liz recently conducted a FREE 8 week detox program to help people identify issues within their bodies related to allergies. I have never believed that I had allergies to any types of foods. The weekly sessions provided guidelines for removing dietary items that may cause reactions. Although I did not consistently attend the entire program, I did take the information into practice on my own and what I discovered has changed the way I eat, and the way I feel!
Liz’s care extends beyond 5 Element Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs and she is very involved in taking care of her own body, mind, and spirit and this extension of her practice is unparalleled. I highly recommend Liz for services including body and pain-​related issues, but what she can help you tune into can reach far beyond those parameters.

Liz’s ability to connect with patients is unparalleled. I’ve received many different acupuncture treatments from others in the area, but her warm and open heart kept me coming back. I first discovered acupuncture when traditional Western therapies weren’t helping my back pain (4 slipped discs). Due to my traveling I ended up in the care of Liz and by this time I realized there is a whole other world of my being that acupuncture can help with.
I quickly realized that pain my body is feeling isn’t just something my body does, but instead is a defense mechanism for a bigger picture of systemic pain on the body, mind and spirit levels. For me in particular I now know that I was suffering spiritually and emotionally – depression, loneliness, and a loss of community. We worked with those root causes and pain and stress went away in a matter of several treatments. And for those times when I stubbed my toe or didn’t eat enough and gave myself a headache – Liz was there to help me with those acute situations as well.
I really can’t speak more highly of Liz. She is also a skilled Chinese Herbalist. Sure, the herbs tasted weird, but I got over that fast. After taking one cup of my herbs my rib pains went away entirely. All of her attention is focused on me during the hour treatments. This hasn’t been the case with many acupuncturists I’ve been to who place needles in me and leave me alone in a room. Her needling skills are superior and she won’t end the treatment unless I feel whole. I really cannot NOT afford to keep going for my continued health and wellbeing!
