Kismet Recycled Vintage & Designer Clothing

This is the best little clothing store in South Florida– I’m a professional photographer who is always looking for unique clothing for my clients. This place had a great selection and the owners personally hand picked items for me. They play great music, and I discovered them on one of their live music nights, where they have free underground concerts. Truly a gem, should be designated a national landmark.

Great customer service, excellent selection– truly a remarkable small business that does not give a fuck to cater to the Unilocal extortionist mafia.

Rude service, there was a little kid running around and no one did nothing! Small cluttered store, overpriced for dirty items. No high end fashion. Racks were stuffed could not push pull anything. Never again

One of a kind vintage shop where prices vary from $ 10 to over $ 300 on actual vintage items from the bygone 60’s era and also current designer brands. Designer brands included names like Lilly Pulitzer, DVF, Gautier, Custo Barcelona, maybe Pucci, and so on.
Today I only wanted to come out to Atlantic Ave to check this little gem out, but what a busy Saturday to have picked! There were several fests and sporting games happening today that free parking wasn’t going to happen til I found one after 10 minutes of driving. Apparently Kismet does not have a designated parking lot for their customers. I remember having had this issue when I went to dine at Max’s Harvest a couple doors down.
Upon my arrival, there are a few densely packed racks outside of the building that seem to be of the lower priced and clearance items. I was greeted inside by a nice gentleman who unfortunately didn’t know of a few brands I was looking for after having posted my search on their facebook page a few days ago.
So, instead, I decided to rummage through the racks for them and for any piece that’ll call out to me. After having spent maybe 20 minutes inside, I was beginning to sweat. It does seem that their air conditioning is weak.
I was pleased with their selection but none appealed to me as I felt that more than 75% of the clothing shape would be a better fit for 40+ year old women.
It is not likely I will return, but am keeping an eye on their facebook page for a possibility.

I have a business across the street and I watch people walk in there 7 days a wk… An majority of the time walk out with a purchase or 2… I kept saying I’m going to go take a look … Well I finally did. Grabbed a girlfriend after class & went in!!! It was so much fun … The have such a variety of clothing.(vintage) Shoes. Accessories. That are in good condition! The staff is Great!!! We both walked out with more than a few things! Will be visiting it again very soon!!! Ps they also play the best music! Geri

Great store with wonder staff ! They know the inventory so if you are looking for a great piece ask for help !

I have been to this thrift shop many times. As a young male they have very few options. I went with a buddy of mine today and as we were leaving we were confronted by the cashier. She accused my friend of wearing a shirt from the store and walking out with it. However, he was wearing his work shirt. We were completely taken aback by this encounter and will not be returning.

What a great vintage shop! The store has an excellent selection, and the staff is so friendly and helpful, without being pushy. If you are looking for a vintage gem in South Florida, look no further :)
