Helping Hands Moving

*****revised so read completely Packing and moving into storage was great. When the unpacking happened and days later discoveries were made the issues arise :
Issues can be resolved with customer service. Don’t expect that here I’m laid back and pretty understanding when things happen but how the issues get addressed is everything to me. I tipped these guys over the move period $ 260+ and bought lunch for them etc.
Very happy with the ease of this move. 4 br+office +media room. Full house pack and move. They arrived both days on time (a few minutes early actually) and were very professional. I stayed during the pack and move and they would come to me with any questions they had. They were very fast and very thorough. Lots of leather items and fine china were handled with extra care. They managed to work everything into our storage units and I was very impressed
I interviewed the top 4 moving companies and Helping Hands was just slightly more in the quote but in the long run saved me a lot as the other companies would not put in writing the flat rate total cost so I may have ended up with extra fees. I have moved several times in the past few years so I have had my share of bad experiences. I am so happy I finally have my new moving company (packing and unpacking too)

Day one noticed baby oil was packed with a $ 60 bamboo pillow which had a dark cover on it. Owner pulled out of box we didn’t notice damage. Later when I took cover off you could see the oil was absorbed into pillow and it smells like baby oil. Why was that even packed together?! I address it with owner he says cap must not have been on right and he didn’t see damage. I explain with the cover off you can see damage and it shouldn’t have been packed with oil in the first place. I tipped the guys $ 60 that day and lost a $ 60 pillow he refuses to address
Days later when going through garage for something I notice one of my PAINTINGS with a frame in FOUR pieces was mysteriously placed in a bin with Valentine’s Day décor. Again owner refuses to do anything
Ten days later I’m looking for shoes under my master bed and notice the support slats are broken! Sideways not supporting bed ! Then while I’m down there notice head to toe scratches and dings on bed frame. This was a NEW bed. This was its FIRST move. Send video to owner. He says it’s ten days later. It looks like paint. «You had a million people in and out «etc etc I had a housekeeper to organize. NO one touched furniture his guys put together again refuses any responsibility. Learned a lesson here for sure. Would not use again. They were great until issues came up. Then it’s just arguing and no resolution If the owner could resolve issues like offering to cover my handy man who will hopefully repair supports and use wood touch up on bed and replace the pillow and get frame fixed this wouldn’t be a problem. But I have been literally arguing back and forth with this guy and he has not offered to do anything. Not even an apology

These guys are amazing. moved me a couple days ago.

Great experience with this company. We’ve used them on two occasions (first moving belongings/​furniture from a condo in Hollywood to a storage unit in Boca Raton, then recently moving the belongings/​furniture from the storage unit to a house a few miles away from the facility). Both times I have been impressed with their professionalism, flexibility, reliability, and service.
The company was very accommodating when it came to changing dates for the move, and doing so at the last minute yet. The truck arrived promptly and the guys assisting with the move were all helpful and friendly. The overall price was reasonable, and though granted we weren’t moving *too* much stuff at one time, the move was complete within no more than a couple hours.
I highly recommend!
