History

Established in 1916.

The store started in Chicago in 1916 by the Heller family. Following the war in 1945, Leon Heller took over the store. The store was on a break until 1995, when the store opened in Sunrise until 2004. We had another location in Delray Beach for a couple of years, then Susan H. (Gary’s Wife) opened this location in August of 2006. You will find them both, including Dora the Explorer — there Golden Retriever at the store whenever you visit.
