Still Waiting almost 2 hours to talk to Finance person after terms were agreed on, trade in turned over and all sales/​transfer/​insurance paperwork signed. James the salesman was great. But this is ridiculous. Boss sitting in office giving his daily sales meeting with team. Guess once they get the deal done they don’t care about you wasting a whole afternoon because they can’t staff the finance department. AutoNation Checy in Delray FL needs to do better
Back at dealer 4 days later with the vehicle I just purchased… Been here 5 hours now getting brakes fixed the way they should have been when purchased. So much for Certified Pre Owned. Buyer beware here

I would have given 5 stars but how the ending turned out on my oil change I did not like at all. I’ve had my oil change done at Auto nation in Miami, they charge me $ 39.95 which is the new price for oil changes for my vehicle. I already know that the autonation chevy’s are linked together. I recently moved to palm beach county and originally had an appointment with steve that I wasn’t able to make and had to cancel. He already priced out for me the cost for my oil change which was $ 39.95, when I called to reschedule another gentlemen made the appointment for me for the same day and gave me the same price. Oil change is done and I go to pay and Aaron my service advisor tells me its $ 69.95, I told him that’s not what I was told and I would not be paying that amount when I know it’s not that price, he said he was going to go back to his desk and see if he can change some numbers around. Miraculously he comes back with the $ 39.95 price. He then walks me to my truck and tells me that when customers call they don’t know the correct questions to ask for pricing and that the $ 39.95 price was for a car oil change. Let me make this clear, I KNOW what questions to ask, not to mention my information is in the system already from Autonation chevy coral gables and i know that he was trying to get over on me and could not admit that he was wrong. Therefor I will NEVER be taking my car to Autonation Delray again because of him, I rather drive to another autonation chevy and deal with them rather then a liar. He didn’t apologize but instead said the remark he said when he walked me to my truck, Such a shame

Went in there to find out how much the rebates were on the Silverado trucks. No one could give me a straight answer. Instead, I got asked how much I wanted my payments to be around and how much I owed on my trade in. Then when I asked again how much the truck was– I got «oh we can sell you this extended warranty package». Needless to say, I got up and left and James the sales guy got up and pushed the chair at us. Very unprofessional. All I wanted to know was how much the truck was and he couldn’t even tell me. Go to AutoNation in Greenacres. Much better place.

I wanted to switch to a new Chevy Volt and told them exactly what I was looking for and what lease I wanted to get into and they got me EXACTLY what I wanted for the monthly payment and miles I wanted. They even rolled in my remainder of my 9 months left on my existing lease into the new lease without affecting my price.
Everything was done over phone and email with Steve. Steve had everything ready for me so I went there to pick up the car and drive away with the beautiful 2015 Chevy Volt in less than 1 hour.
Excellent service, excellent team!!! I will be back for more Chevy soon!

Inquired about a new Volt, got a lease quote, did my credit app online, and got all the help I needed from the sales consultant. I was in-​and-​out the dealer with a new car in no time. Excellent car buying experience! Friendly service, no gimmicks and trustworthy people. I’m VERY satisfied with the service received.

Although the staff was very friendly I was disappointed with the results of my issue. I originally brought my car in for service because the check engine light was on and my brake was squeaking badly. The technician also suggest I have routine maintenance on my engine, which I did. I dropped my car off on Saturday and Sunday morning I was called and told it was ready. I paid for the engine maintenance and drove off the lot. As soon as I got on the highway (which is approx 2 miles from your dealership, the Traction Control Service light came on. I immediately turned around and brought my car back to the dealership. They kept it for most of the day on Sunday and said they fixed it. As soon as I got back on the highway the Traction Control Service light came back on. I call immediately, but they were closing so they told me to call Monday morning to schedule to bring my car back. I brought my car back on Monday and was given a loaner until they could fix the problem. When I called to check on it they stated they want to keep it overnight so they could test drive it. I picked my car up the next day when they told me it was fixed again. Sure enough when I got on the highway the Traction Control Service light came back on. Very aggravated now I called the dealership and they said to bring it back in. I had a very busy schedule at work so I could not bring it back until after lunch and at that time they gave me the same loaner car back to use until my car was fixed. I called they next afternoon and they told me they wanted to keep it overnight again to test drive it to make sure the light did not come on again. I questioned why they have to test drive it at night instead of during normal business hours and they had no real reason why. Aggravated again I told them that I would be by later that day to pick my car up and take it somewhere else if I had to to get it fixed. When I got there the
service tech told me that the light had not come on, but it probably would again. I asked why if you think you fixed it? He said they think they fixed it but were not sure. I asked for a receipt detailing what they did to fix the problem and they did not have it at the time and said they would mail it to me the next day. A week and a half later I still had not received the detailed receipt so I called and they mailed it out that day. They mailed me the 1^st receipt I had already signed and paid for. I called to question this and the Tech said they did not have a receipt and I told him I needed one to prove what was done to my car in case I had to take it else where. In the real world if it is not written down then it did not happen.
3 weeks later I am still waiting for my receipt on what they did to fix the traction Control Service light and thank goodness it has not come on again as of today.
I want and need the receipt .

I have had an experience with AutoNation Chevrolet Delray which I would describe as «the two faces of AutoNation.» I was both impressed with the initial sense of caring of the store’s General Manager, Stephen Page, and his team during the crisis which led me to purchase a new vehicle from the dealership — as I was dismayed when he called me to lambaste me this morning for giving the dealership a four-​out-​of-​five stars rating on the post-​purchase survey.
As a marketer, I believe that providing HONEST and UNADULTERATED feedback is critical in the balance between the dealership’s quest for greatness, and receiving the type of actionable insights that foster legitimate improvement.
To ensure that there is no doubt as to the reason why I gave my initial «four-​star» rating, it was wholly related to a very critical omission of a purchased option package that I only discovered after doing a cursory review of my window sticker. Though the dealership very quickly took ownership of the mistake and fixed it prior to my imminent departure back to my home state, I felt that this lapse — which was not my fault — deserved the lower grade.
By reopening this situation this morning (and Mr. Paige saying that «he sees how I am») I am now also able to share that the refund of an additional $ 200 — which I paid to install one of the options that we ultimately discovered was in the prepaid option package — has still not been sent to me, though the mistake was acknowledged three weeks ago.
Mr. Paige — congratulations — your call this morning not only negated the goodwill that you had earned with me by being so compassionate during our transaction; but also justified my lower grade on the post-​delivery survey — and an even lower one here.

Just bought a new Chevy Malibu here. Really great customer service and they sell an excellent product. I had been driving VW Passat for many years but decide that Chevy is making much better cars.

I called to see if Autonation Chevrolet would make the situation right (because that is what their response requested on my last comment), the general manager in lamest terms told me «its not our problem and nor our fault». After installing USED PARTS and parts intended for other vehicles (previous pictures for proof) I would STAY AWAY from Autonation Chevrolet of Delray Beach at all costs… I live down the street off of Linton and Federal and drive an hour to Ed Morse Sawgrass for services on all of my GM vehicles. Steve Brenis in service was very kind and tried to help me at the time to the best of his ability, whereas the «other» Steve, which I can assume to be Steve Paige the «GM», did the exact opposite. After being instructed to call in to «mediate the situation», I was heckled by Steve and was told: «it must be the 22 inch rims that broke your hub», and asked: «how do you know the parts are used?», «whats the proof of your accusations?», and «what is your certification?» etc. etc.
— taking every route other than taking responsibility.
Steve, if your reasoning is valid, why sell OEM 22-​Inch Factory wheels in your showroom?
Why is it that when I replaced your installed parts with the intended factory ones (after paying full retail from another dealer), all issues were resolved?
Its been a little over 7 months and I haven’t ran into any problems to date…
Why is it that my 24×14′ American Forces on 40’s (bigger than my last set) with NEW factory 6-​lug hubs haven’t peeled and snapped yet? (its been 30,000 miles)
Why did your «NEW» installed parts break only 2 days after me leaving your service center?
Since when do «new» parts come standard with rust out of the box?

Why were the tie rods I personally installed (that I ordered from a competing dealership in Palm Beach County) completely different from the set you installed ?
Because the correct ones I purchased aren’t designed/​intended for an Equinox or Traverse??? Oh.
I service 1,500+ vehicles a year and have at least one vehicle in SEMA annually, we are an ASE and SEMA certified shop, and we refuse to allow a customer to be dissatisfied with our work– especially a customer who spent extra on a warranty.
If i had more time and money I would sue for Defective Mechanic Work and Negligence. All further business of mine with GM will be conducted through Roger Dean or Ed Morse where customers are valued.

One week later received a call left on voice mail from Brian at Autonation Chevy today thanking me sarcastically for the great review I gave him! (didn’t mention his name on first review) I was told I could pick up the bad part and not one mention of taking care of my steering wheel that is still off center. Not that I would ever bring my car there ever again! Please read other negative reviews like I have and I’m sure you’ll think twice about going there! You can keep the part I don’t want it probably not mine anyways!

I’m obviously in the minority here and I’m always brutally honest with my reviews, but I’ve never had a bad experience here. Granted I always make it a point to deal directly with managers/​supervisors/​experienced people so the job gets done correctly. I’ve been using Adam Roach in the service dept for 2 years and he is nothing but amazing. I just leased by second car from Al Cohen and Wonnell Godfrey– also assisted by Chris and Freddie… amazing group of guys. Super nice and went out of their way to accommodate my needs and get me the rock bottom best pricing anywhere around on the car. i would definitely recommend them!

Frustrating! Marketing from Corporate store puts up discount coupons that store employees are not aware of and say they can’t apply it. It happens every time I go to the store. They only apply the discount if I call senior management and make a deal about it. It feels like bad advertisement all over.

Alan Berkowitz did a good job to make a deal happen for me. I would venture to say that he really had his work cut out for him with what I wanted and he was able to make it happen.
I have lowed the star rating for them due to the service department taking 3 hours for a simple oil change.

I left my corvette there for 2 weeks and was promised on 3 different occasions over the course of the two weeks that they ordered a part for my car and I was promised the part would arrive in a day or two. The part never showed up and they didn’t call me to tell me that, they let me go on thinking that my car was ready for pick up. When I showed up (two weeks later) they did nothing to my car… ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Matter of fact one of the things that they told me they did never happened. A flat out lie. So I picked up a service phone to speak to a General Manager and left a voice mail. He returned my call and told me that he would see what he can do and he never called me back either. This was not an isolated occasion. I took my car in on a previous occasion and left it for the entire day and when I went to pick it up, it was never touched. They apologized and gave me a free oil change for the troubles. This dealership has problems in their service department.

Chevrolet of Delray was great! Needed a car that fit my needs and budget and the Chevy Delray folks made it happen. From Alan in sales, Gif the GM, Donell the sales manager and Shelley in finance they couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. Thank You very much.

Horrible, horrible service! While I was visiting my father in Florida his car began stalling, so we took it in here for diagnostics. Somehow we were assigned to a service rep named JP who seemed fairly pleasant at our first meeting, but turned out to be terrible to deal with. He never followed up with promised phone calls to update us on our car, later using excuses that he was «swamped», «bombarded with customers» and «over my head with customers». He said he’d call in 4 – 5 hours to let us know what they found, but would not do any work without our approval. 5 hours passed and no call, so we called him. After leaving messages for JP, who we were told would call back in 10 minutes, we heard nothing, and again had to call at which point he told us he had no news. We rented a car right after we dropped off my Dad’s car since we needed one for that day. When the car wasn’t fully diagnosed the next day (a Friday), JP said that Maroone would pay for the car from the 2^nd day on, and that it would probably not be done until after the weekend. I informed him at that time that I understood that he wasn’t responsible for the actual service of the car, but that we needed him to be more communicative and keep us updated as to what’s going on and he assured me that he would. I called back on Monday, and after finally getting through to JP, discovered that there was no news. I expressed my incredulity that after 5 days of diagnosing, they were no closer to an answer, I was then told that they didn’t work on the car over the weekend, because they were very busy with other cars. I told JP at this point that I was having trouble believing anything he told me and was about ready to call his manager whose name and number I had. A short time later he called back, they «discovered» the problem (which I’m not totally convinced was actually the problem), and it would be ready later that day. Since we weren’t going to be nearby then, we told him we’d get it in the morning. The next morning, returning the rental, we were informed by the Enterprise guy (great service there, by the way) that JP said that they would only pay for up to 4 days of rental — although he had told us that they would pay for it until our car was ready. The initial «diagnosis» came up with a problem that would cost $ 500 to fix, but the final «diagnosis» required an entirely new computer that cost $ 1300.
As I’m not a mechanic, I can’t speak to the actual repair service here, but their customer service and communication alone is enough to warrant keeping away from this place. Any place that would keep an employee like JP is not a place I would advise going to.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!
This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a service department. After spending $ 1500 to replace my entire cooling system. (water pump, radiator, hoses) 3 months later it started going out again. After they fix it a second time less than 6 months later i am having the same problems!
Aside from the shady repair work they have been rude and difficult getting anything fixed correctly.
