Calligraphy By Ellen

Ellen did my invitations and my place cards for my wedding. It adds such a nice touch for a very affordable price. I had so many people call me and tell me how beautiful my envelopes looked. She is not only talented, but an extremely nice woman. She was very accommodating and a pleasure to do business with. I would highly recommend Ellen.

Ellens Hand Calligraphy is so beautiful and made my sisters wedding invitations come out beautifully! She is very creative, artistic and easy to work with. I contacted Ellen and she scheduled me right away and had the calligraphy completed within my sister’s short time frame. If there’s one job that’s NOT for me it’s calligraphy. I have the handwriting of a 5 year old. My friends have spent countless hours making fun of my scribble scrabble. And I’m also seriously ADD (self diagnosed) and sitting there writing the names and addresses of hundreds and thousands of invitations sounds pretty hellish to me.
Lucky for handwriting challenged ADD folks like myself there are experienced calligraphers out there like Ellen Bogonoff! She’s been doing this a long time… in fact, my mom just told me that she actually did the invitations for my bat-​mitzvah and that was 14 years ago! Yep, I’m no spring chicken anymore.
I’ve never actually met Ellen (mom did and gave her the stamp of approval), but I admired her fabulous handwriting as I stuffed invitations all day long. And when I emailed her with a few corrections (address mistakes we had made, everything she did was as perfect as her handwriting) she sweetly replied that she’d have them ready by tomorrow!
I’m a fan, my mom’s a fan, and our wedding guests will be a fan when they get their beautiful invitations!
