Established in 1982.

Founded in 1982, The Davidson Agency has served Ottawa County and surrounding communities for over 30 years. The Davidson Agency is a family run business started by Joe Davidson and currently owned and operated by Joe’s son, Lyle Davidson. Since taking control in 1999 Lyle has built The Davidson Agency, adding office locations in Minneapolis, Bennington, Assaria and Kensington KS.

The Davidson Agency understands that we are insuring important aspects of life, business and all around livelihood for our local communities and the state of Kansas. The Davidson Agency’s main responsibility is to make insurance an easy task for any customer who walks in the door, calls or connects with us through multi media. Meet the Business Owner

Lyle D.

Business Owner

Lyle Davidson is the owner/​operator of The Davidson Agency, a Trusted Choice®, Independent Insurance Agency in Delphos, KS. Lyle is a graduate of Bethany College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary math education. After working as a teacher and coach, Lyle decided to begin a career as a small business owner. He began working at his father’s independent insurance agency in 1999, and later that year he purchased the agency. The Davidson Agency is now located in four rural Kansas towns, including Delphos, Minneapolis, Bennington, and Assaria.

As a rural agency and personal farm owner, Lyle has had the opportunity and privilage to work with many farmers in the local communities. This prompted Lyle to earn his Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation in 2007 to further his knowledge and commitment to local famers.
