Update: we visited Alaska this summer – that makes 50 states. The Creamery still wins. Second place: a now-closed soft serve joint in Gardner MA(formerly the Chair Capital of the World).

This is not an ice cream shop. It is a time machine. During my thirty minutes there, I was a 10-year-old boy again. The line was long, but it went fast. I felt more anticipation than annoyance waiting in it. Watching people walk away with humongous piles of ice cream perched precariously on a cone made it difficult for me to decide what I wanted for myself. Biting into my cone(one scoop chocolate, one scoop salty caramel), I realized what all the fuss was about. It was so packed with real cream; nothing non-fat, light, or healthy in any way. If you are in Delphos, Ohio in the summer, you MUST go to The Creamery. Do it, and thank me later.

Real hard ice cream, what more can I say. Well worth the stop.

Excellent. We had strawberry cheesecake softserve, peanut butter shake, and Apple pie ice cream. All were perfection.
