College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving

The head hunkette came out and did an estimate for our move which she estimated to take 5 to 7 hours; she was fun to work with. The price quoted was pretty fair based upon all of the other movers I got estimations from even if there was a $ 119.00 pay in front fee to hold the date and pay for gas etc. And then there came the day of the move…
Pluses: They moved some pretty heavy exercise equipment and some heavy boxes (book? I’ve got plenty!) They finished in 7 hours and we paid by credit card then. They were great at me going a little to the left, a little to the right when putting furniture in place at the new digs.
Minuses: They took 7 hours which cost us a bit over 1K. The guys took quite a few bathroom breaks and a lunch break (didn’t charge for that, folks gotta eat) and there were a few times I wondered where they were and they were outside talking about where to put the boxes (we packed) in their truck. The mats they used to put on the hardwood floors left a sticky residue which I had to clean off later. The protective mats they put on wall corners left marks on the walls I had to clean off later. And I know it was a warm day and all but one of the guys left a very damp sweat mark on the arm of my sofa and it wasn’t a little mark either. They lost the screws to my dresser mirror which fortunately still had the spares stapled to the back in the original plastic bag.

These guys were fantastic. So fast, easy, and the two guys who came took such great care of my stuff. I was really impressed and would use them again in the future for sure!
