Law Office & Tammy Jaques

My husband and I have been clients of Tammy Jacques for several years for a variety of legal matters. Some of these matters were not pleasant ones, while others were routine things, which just needed a legal touch to them. Because these matters involved the divorce of a family member, a criminal act against a family member, and other such things one thing I appreciated was the compassion with which we were treated. No matter what the need, Tammy and her assistant Wendy have been there for us every step of the way. I find them to work with the utmost professionalism, promptness, and knowledge of the matters before them. Our calls are always returned promptly, questions answered quickly, letters sent on time, court appearances handled thoroughly, and with all of this, both individuals in this office work diligently to resolve all issues in a timely manner always. We have always recognized we are not the only clients they have, and somehow they manage to make one feel like they ARE the only client.
Matters such as divorce and child custody are always the hardest cases I think and the bottom line is no one wins, however with the fine negotiating skills of Tammy Jacques somehow things work out. Once a client realizes there are things to be conceded, and give and take in every situation, the matter is better resolved. Tammy has the ability to convey that message to her clients in a kind and compassionate way.
We can’t thank Tammy and her assistant Wendy enough for all their time, professionalism and kindness for us as clients. I refer clients to her every chance I have!

Divorce is an extremely painful process. It does not need to be compounded with incompetence, inconsideration, and insensitivity. Simple matters can get complicated and expensive if you do not have adequate and skilled representation. That is why I am posting this review as a warning to anyone who might be thinking of using this attorney, Tammy Jaques, to represent them. In my case; papers were not filled promptly, which resulted in continuances and further expenses, meetings were not kept, and even punctuality to court appearances did not seem a priority for this attorney. Her cavalier approach and flippant attitude was not only infuriating but costly. Once you pay your retainer your on the «hook» so do your research when it comes to finding good representation, I certainly wish I had done more!
P. S. Since the posting of this review this attorney contacted me with a flurry of harassing emails, demanding that I remove this review or she would sue me for slander! Lol, I find it ironic that an attorney doesn’t seem to understand the concept of freedom of speech or that its not slander if its true. I wish she had put this much effort and passion into my case.
