I am very disappointed in the Home Depot Veterans discount. Home Depot offered a 10% discount to Veterans on merchandise but when you go to check out you find that many of the items your purchasing are not «eligible» to receive the discount. When I asked a store employee how you could tell which items received the discount she said you couldn’t until you checked out. She said many Veterans have complained but the company doesn’t want to change the policy because it brings in a lot of business. I asked to have a manager call me so I could express my dissatisfaction and no one called. I sent in a written request and was told a manager would call me but they never did. This seems deceptive to me and instead of being a Veterans discount it seems more like a bait and switch.

I had trouble finding something here once, many people tried to help but it turns up it was only available online. I give them an A for effort. Also, on my most recent encounter, I returned some extra materials. I was in and out in less than 2 mins. Great work.

So many frustrations so many times from so many representatives who lack the desire to provide professional help while at the same time lacking the necessary experience and/or product knowledge. On this visit I wished to purchase a can of MinWax Honey Pine stain. It’s not on the shelf and the associate simply walked away while typing into his pocket computer. The next employee was as helpful as he could be while he worked on a display. Ace Hardware … Here we come!

Tuff Shed should be called Tuff Luck. Most miserable construction experience of my life. In my opinion: Poor logistics. Terrible office and mangement staff. Missed commitments. Lost order. No follow through. Tons of problems with shed. Some still unresolved. I think Home Depot does themselves a great injustice by having Tuffshed represent them. It’s not helping their brand at all. I would never have Tuffshed do another project on my property. Construction crew was friendly and competent but the entire experience was awful (still is). The build crew is the only reason they even get one star.

I’m so addicted to this Home Depot.
I know where to find everything better than every employee.
I feel confused and frustrated when I shop other hardware stores. Even other HDs.
Their prices are usually great.
The staff is also great.
Though they call themselves the Home Depot, and they advertise for the do-it-yourselfer, the products and tools they sell really cater to professionals. I like that.
