Great coffee; would give this place 5 stars because I’m a fan of Stone Creek but this is my least favorite location due to inconsistent service and cleanliness(just watching the habits of the baristas while in line).

This is a must-try for people who are serious about coffee. I wasn’t disappointed with any drink on the menu. Their website offering is also worth checking out if you like to make it yourself at home.

Coffee geeks on steroids. Stone Creek Coffee is a local milwaukee area operation with about a nine stores in and around Milwaukee. They are happy to serve you drip coffee or pull a shot, but they also can aero press, pour over, french press and every other option — and not only do it, but do it well. Their staff is clearly well trained in everything coffee and they know thier beans(roasted by Stone Creek in a seperate location, not on site) and they know how to prepare them all the different ways. They do sell their coffee beans, all the way up to five pound bags, which is nice for us who 1) drink a ton of coffee at home and 2) live a couple hours away and only get to the area occasionally. So — why four and not five stars? We all have habits, one of mine is consuming coffee morning noon and night. So — what makes a good coffee shop? First, what is the coffee like? Brewed, espresso, etc. They don’t have to roast on site but it has to be top quality and made well. Stone Creek gets full points here with excellent coffee and tons of options in prep, including aero press(although the barista had to check the instruction manual). Second, what is the vibe. WiFi, seating, character(both the building as well as the people), location like. It can’t be a soulless stripmall or stand alone corporate outpost. Stone Creek is kind of interesting, this location is in a suburban strip mall, but they made the inside very kind of retro urban milwaukee with rough wood floors and metal. So it’s a minus for the strip mall, a plus for the interior. They have free wifi and it’s kind of neet with some really cool posters they make, so full points even though I hate to do that for a strip mall location. Third, what is the food like, if they offer it. It can’t be reheated dreck trucked in frozen. It has to be made on site, be well made and be different. It doesn’t have to offer a ton of options, but what they do sell has to be good enough that you come for just it. Stone Creek gets a 50⁄50 review here. Only baked goods from their central location in Milw, and they are pretty ok, but they are not awesome. Plus, no lunch or other options so this is where they fall off a point. Fourth — what is the staff like– do they make you want to come back? Pretty nice staff, very knowledgeable, Friendly and pour great coffee. Call it 4.5 star staff So in conclusion — if all you want is coffee, five stars. If you looking for a little more, they fall just a little short

My husband and I make our yearly trek to Delafield for an Ultra marathon in the area. My hubby is more of a coffee drinker than I, but I have found this location to be very special. The staff is awesome. When it’s your turn at the counter you are not made to feel rushed if you have questions. They explained some of the seasonal flavors we inquired about. They spoke with pride about their product but didn’t come across as arrogant about it. The gentleman this time just said that he knows people have different tastes and he tries to cater to requests but people have to come in to try first. I had a maple spice latte. He was creative enough to actually pour the milk so that there was a maple leaf visible. That’s talent and pride in his work. The drink had very good flavor and no typical bitterness to the coffee. We will be back next year as per our tradition.

I was very impressed with my experience at Stone Creek, and happy that Starbucks’ huge line caused me to venture elsewhere. Staff was very friendly and familiar with many customers that day. I don’t travel past Delafield often, but makes me wish I did, as I felt welcomed and like one of the regulars! I asked for a Chai Latte with double shots of espresso. They mentioned it may cover the chai taste, so let me try it before the second shot was added. Though I did have them add it, I was very pleased with their kindly expressed opinion.

Just a brief update because I mentioned the free wifi in my last review. If you use Windows, you may want to avoid the wifi, I’ve seen at least one case of a Windows XPPC that appears to have been infected after using the network. I use Mac OS X and iOS, so no problems personally.

The staff at the Delafield Stone Creek is awesome. Always very friendly, these talented baristas make each drink perfectly. I also love to sit outside in the summer with my dog and enjoy the sunshine with a delicious cold-brewed iced coffee, so smooth you can drink it black.

When it’s time to get bright eyed and bushy tailed for a 6 hour drive, Stone Creek Cinnamon Flavored coffee is what I need. Not coffee with a shot of cinnamon syrup, but coffee spiced with cloves and cracked Cassia cinnamon during the brewing process. A locally owned coffee shop with multiple locations in the Milwaukee Metro area. They have over 20 different blends!
