Great service, great selection of Equestrian supplies. If you need to get fitted for a helmet or boots, this is the place! Invest in good gear that fits, and it’ll be comfortable and last for years. The staff at Mary’s can help you make the right decision; they’ve fitted my daughter for years and she’s always been happy. Her boots have performed for a few years and have held up well, despite daily wear and tear. Now that I think of it, she’s never even had problems with breeches. Go to Mary’s!

The Mecca of Tack Stores! Love the store once I get there, hate the drive to do so. Awesome selection for supplements and care. Decent tack and clothing options; wish they had more though. A little pricey but you can find deals if you look. Their annual tack sale is the best and well worth going to.

Mary’s tack and feed is a great store or if very helpful because I am near my horse I ride at the horse park and it’s very convent I love the store I always get a great vide from just walking in whenever I go in I am always said hi or good afternoon I love that store also it helps because they alway have the right feed and blanket one day I asked if they could help me find the right blanket for my horse but I didn’t have the measurements but the lady who helped me know a lot about horses so I told her the hands my horse is and she found the perfect blanket for my horse I love this store I never get a bad vibe

The store contacted after the review and apologized. I really didn’t think it was necessary, but they did. They strive themselves on making things right and creating a perfect experience for everyone. !

Amazing place!!! I’ve been going here since I was 5 years old! I love it so much! Everyone at the store is so nice! I had met a new sales person once and I hadn’t gone in for two months and she remembered me and what I looked for last time!!! Amazing place and I love it so much! You should definitely go here!!!

I use to go into this place when I live close by, I moved away and happen to stop by one day on way home– The owners were two ladies apparently at one time. they seem nice enough at that visit-​. I had bought about 40 dollars worth for leather. Went on my way thinking that was that — about two day later I get a call from police detective. — he had ask me what I was doing their — I know this was police from phone call and number left to call back to Police dept. — apparently these two ladies in 70 plus years or older, took my car license down and call the police that I bought items but acted in a manner they did not like — because I ahs wander around store looking at items — I asl officer why was he contacting me — he said it was their job to investigate all follow ups– I asked what follow up? he would not say. I told detective this was total harassment from police dept or him personally — I called my attorney to follow up on this — I actually went by there again with wife and she bought items in store as I was there with her — guess what these tow ladies called the police on us and the detective called me again — this time I recorded this guy. When my attorney contact police chief, this detective denied ever contacting me — my attorney played the recording to the chief and detective was put on admin leave for lying — apparently this detective was neighbor of these two ladies and watch out for them — which I understand — but the ladies were too paranoid and over stated what was going on in store and police office was over re-​acting as a police officer — apparently he had other complaints filed against him and had to resign from police dept to keep his pension– As I drive by there still, it was such a bad experience with these ladies I stay out of place from now on and go to competitor — one person that will nevre ever spend any money in this place

Horrendous customer service! I’ve called 3x to check on an internet order. I was placed on hold for 15 minutes and then the phone disconnected. I’ve attempted to call again reaching out to the English Department and the associate had this time hang up the phone stating that she was busy.
The final straw came when I did call the third time and I was told that they could not reach the shipping department and I would have to wait again for someone to call me back with details about my order. When they did I was told that they have not shipped the item and if I need it they would have to charge an additional $ 60!
I do not recommend doing business with a company like that!

Its close by and convenient for us when we were going to pick up stall mats. On their website they advertise price matching– with no restrictions on what items they match. So we went– knowing that driving an extra 20 minutes away we could get them $ 15 dollars cheaper each. We went to buy 8 and told them about the other store and asked them to price match (we double checked to make sure we met all requirements) and they spent about 15 minutes basically trying to find a loop hole on why we don’t apply to price match.
I think they need to update their website if they say they «don’t price match feed and mats».
Not the best place– but lucky for me, I just needed the mats for our gym and I don’t have a horse.
Update in response to Dale. You actually didn’t offer the price match– even though your employee was on the competitors website and on the phone telling you it’s the exact same mat and that it meets all requirements. You offered a minor discount, and we still overpaid by about $ 100

Mary’s used to be one of my favorite stores to purchase horse equipment from. In fact, I would recommend this store to all of my clients and anyone who would ask where the best place is to get equestrian items. However, through the years I have noticed a gradual, yet marked change from what is best for the customer to what is best for their bottom line. I am incredibly disappointed with the manager Aurelle and the way that she handled returning two items that totaled nearly $ 400. She at first said that she would return these items which were two weeks beyond the 30 day return policy. Then after she couldn’t find the exact credit card number on her records that the items were purchased with, she proceeded to tell me she could only offer a gift card. When I asked for another option and insisted that this wasn’t acceptable, she proceeded to tell me I could drive back down (it takes me an hour and a half to get here and she was aware of that) Monday when the person in charge of the credit card detail would be back in the office. Then they could process the exception. I offered to keep the items there and trust that they would fix it on Monday and she said she couldn’t. Poor customer service. Poor record keeping. The credit card number should print out on the receipt. That is ridiculous. So I had to accept a gift card. Between my husband and I, we spent over 20k here last year. I promise you we plan to take our business and refer our clients elsewhere. Life is too short to be treated like just a number when there are other stores willing to care about the customer.

My Fiancé’s favorite tack store! Always great customer service and great products, even stuff for dogs. My Fiancé is always satisfied coming here and getting whatever she needs. Kinda pricey but what do you expect its Solana Beach haha. Highly recommend it:)

Since I was 10 years old, this has always been my favorite tack store. I am now in my 30’s and I still get excited when I know I will be planning a trip here for useful junk for my horse. Their half yearly sale is insanely amazing, so much that I drive 2 hours from Orange County to visit. Great products and competitive prices.

After exhausting all resale, consignment and
options, I decided to go to San Diego Saddlery to get my small footed 10 year old daughter paddock boots for horse camp. After a call, they had what I needed in stock and I planned to be there a few hours later. That was a :40 min drive with a few loop de lopps to find the poorly marked store in a poorly marked strip mall. Alas, San Diego Saddlery had sold the pair I was after and no longer carrried the size I needed. Frustrated I called Mary’s Tack & Feed and got Danielle on the line. She was incredibly helpful with suggestions and as I looked at the web site we disscussed the best option for my girl. Then Danielle said she had a pair and offered to hold them for me. Such a vastly different experience. Getting to the store is straightforward and easy. Parking no trouble Signage obvious. The store was bustling at 10:10am on a Saturday but three registers were open, there were salspeople available and there was Danielle — with a name tag and a smile and my girls first pair of riding boots. It made my day! Thank you!

I visited Mary’s for the first time this afternoon to purchase a halter and lead rope. I found everything I needed and more. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I have a new tack shop!

Concord Equestrian Center LOVES Mary’s! We refer all our Riders to them and they are always helpful and have what we need. Erika and Danielle are highly recommended for boot and helmet fittings.

You would think they would hire some new workers there with better attitudes! From the managers to some mean old woman they called Sue. The prices are as high as their noses are in the air. If I was to grade on what the store carried I would give them 4 stars they carry a great line of breeches and feeds, but those snotty attitudes just kill it for the average person. So if you tough skinned and don’t care how you are treated head in to Mary’s but if you want customer service and a little money left in pocket… Find another feed store.

I’ve been going to Mary’s Tack & Feed for the past year for bales of hay and pelleted wood litter for my rabbits. Their hay is always great quality and smells wonderful, and the workers help load the bags of litter and hay into my car. My rabbits have no complaints about the hay received. :) I have tried both timothy and orchard hay bales. As I am allergic to hay, the orchard was much better to my sinuses than the timothy due to dust.
As a tip, the store is happy to let you collect samples of the hay that have fallen on the ground if you are unsure if you want to commit to a bale. The bales are stacked out in front of the store in the parking lot, so don’t visit on a rainy day as they will have all the hay covered by the tarp and inaccessible. The store does not sell partial bales of hay, which might be useful for a pet owner without that many rabbits. A single 3-​string bale of hay lasts my two rabbits about 6 months, but my rabbits eat a decent amount daily. YMMV.
Overall, they have great friendly staff, and it’s always a pleasure to visit.

I walked into the store and immediately I heard, hello, welcome… I indicated that I have started riding again and I need some new gear. I was asked if I’d like some help and Katie my cashier called upon an associate to assist me (she was very friendly, helpful and funny). They have a wide variety of items and when I later arrived home and checked pricing online, I found them comparable to other locations and online stores. Ashley helped me find everything I needed and was very patient, pulling different styles, brands, and asking just the right questions in order to find the right item for my needs. I’m very particular and it takes me a while to find exactly what I want. I decided on the Kerrits Cross-​Over Breech in Mushroom color (absolutely new and beautiful color), Heritage RT Paddlock Zip boots and the Ariat Breeze half chap (they are actually washable). I’m very pleased with the quality of service and gear I received, I will definitely be returning.

I love that they will deliver my shavings even when I only order a few bags, and the store has everything!

I love this store. Has everything a horse owner needs. When an item I wanted to buy was out of stock the staff ordered it right away. The process was fast and quick! Everyone was very friendly.

OH MY GOD MARY’S. This place is horseperson heaven. Not to mention they also carry some dog and cat supplies! They have two spacious floors. Everything is split up into sections that make items easy to find and see. The staff? THEY KNOW SO MUCH! It is ridiculous the amount of knowledge these girls have on everything you could ever ask. not only the tack, itself, but details about the different brands that I wouldn’t have even known to ask. I even called on the phone recently to ask about putting nameplates on tack, and they stayed on the phone with me explaining how I should do it, step by step. Seriously.
They also carry a wide range of prices on pretty much all items.
I love love love Mary’s for everything I’ll ever need for my Jack :)
