Lowell Foster, CPA

As a real estate professional, full time W-2’d employee, and a landlord, I knew I needed a reputable CPA for my 2013 taxes. I selected Lowell based on his Unilocal reviews and reached out to him telephonically. During our initial phone call, Lowell spent a generous 45 minutes on the phone with me asking questions and giving advice, ultimately better preparing me for our appointment.
We met a total of 2 times with a few emails in between. Lowell’s communication in that respect was outstanding.
In another sense, I felt a bit talked down too periodically. If there was something I was unclear on, he almost seemed frustrated by me asking him to explain.
Lowell is clearly a busy CPA, I felt rushed during both appointments because he had another client coming in shortly.
Ultimately Lowell is extremely knowledgable in his field and genuinely works in your best interest. However, I don’t know if I’ll be a return client next year.

I found Lowell using an online search several years ago. I had a complicated situation which he was able to navigate with ease. Needless to say, he won me over and has been doing my taxes ever since. He takes the time to explain things in a clear manner, and has found deductions I didn’t know were an option. Lowell is responsive, helpful and I have referred many family and friends to him.
