Raw denim for men and women, boots, structured basics. We are San Diego’s premier location for raw and made in USA denim.

We also offer repairs, custom tapers and hems for all denim. If you have a pair that needs some alteration or repair, just bring them our way and we’ll get you all set up.

Established in 2013.

We started as a showroom for denim brands, our own vertical brand, as well as a unique space in San Diego that caters to US made clothing and accessories.

After four or five pairs of raw denim bought online that just almost fit right, I decided to call in the pros. Lone Flag, to the best of my knowledge, has the largest amount of premium denim in San Diego.
Dre was super super helpful. I tried on a ton of pairs, and unlike nearly every other store I’ve been to he told me when a pair of jeans I thought looked good actually looked terrible. Kang was very helpful as well.
I ended up buying a pair of Freenote black/​indigo jeans. I hadn’t heard of the brand, but the fit and finish is amazing.
When you are tired of wearing clothes that almost look good, head to Lone Flag.

Living in NYC, I pass through La Jolla area whenever I can in order to get a little r & r. I was surprised and delighted to find nearby in Del Mar one of the coolest men’s clothing stores I’ve ever been in — NYC, Copenhagen, Tokyo, and beyond…
Sam, Kang and the crew make you feel at home in introducing you to the greatest clothing craft projects going on in the country like Corridor (Dan is the man) and Rogue Territory. And, yes, sometimes whiskey is involved which is freaking amazing.
I give it my highest recommendation and hope they continue to do great. Thanks guys — see you next time.

A great shop with the best owner operator and staff. High end goods in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They not only sell high quality menswear and goods, but wear and use what they sell daily. These guys are dedicated to what they do and are a wealth of knowledge regarding fits and construction of the garments they sell. Dedicated proponents of the shop small concept and local curated goods. They host in store events free of charge many times a year often attended and sponsored by the likes of Freenote Cloth, Rogue Territory, etc. Where else can you go in San Diego to meet the makers of some of best menswear in California in person? These guys guided me in my quest to dress well and look sharp and I learn something new with every conversation. Stop in and see for yourself.

These guys know what they are doing from the minute you walk into the store they set a vibe that is just Cool! The clothes are hung in such a way that makes you want to touch and feel everything. The quality of their products is exceptional for a small beach city like Del. Mar. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.

I absolutely LOVE this store. I have gotten a few shirts and accessories from this store. Their quality is great, and so are the employees. Except Im a little disappointed in the return policy. Keep in mind, not only do they only have a 7 day return policy, but they also can only give you your money back in the form of a gift card. I ended up with a pair of jeans that I never wore and will never wear!

San Diego isn’t the most fashion forward city, especially with menswear. If you’re into raw denim or domestically manufactured men’s clothing, your options in San Diego are extremely limited.
Lone Flag isn’t a five star store because it’s one of the only places in San Diego that carries the products they do. It’s a five star store because it’s a five star store (say that ten times fast).
Imagine the last time you went in a small boutique that sold $ 200 jeans and $ 400 jackets. It was probably a pretty uncomfortable experience, complete with a condescending retail associate and weird industrial electronic music that was probably too loud. Lone Flag is not that kind of store.
There are chairs where you can sit and hang out (and not have it be awkward), a record player with a bunch of vinyl, and there’s usually hot coffee, iced coffee, whiskey, or beer, or all of the above, just for you to enjoy on the house while you browse.
On top of all of this, Sam, the owner, is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He’s more than happy to chat with you about the products he carries, new stuff that’s on the horizon, or just life in general. He will literally spend an hour making sure that if you’re spending $ 200 on a pair of jeans, that you’re getting the right pair that fits you correctly and that you’ll be happy with in the long run.
Whether you’re looking for men’s clothing, women’s clothing, grooming supplies, home goods, or just a bottle of cold brewed coffee, I can’t recommend Lone Flag more.

There are very few stores that carry high quality, one of a kind clothing, accessories, toiletries, great candles for the home, and accent wardrobe pieces as Lone Flag does. The attention to detail and timeless pieces are several notches above even what you would find in a high end dept. store. Awesome gift wrapping! Customer service is outstanding. This store is an experience, not just a place to buy something from. You will want to go back again and again, or frequently be checking their website to see what cool pieces they have bought! I learned my lesson — which is buy when you see it, because they may only have one! Well worth the trip to Del Mar and certainly worth spending a few more dollars to purchase pieces that will be used over and over again.

In today’s age of fast consumption, everything you buy is being made oversees often with dubious quality at best. Everything this store carries is timeless, free of silly style trends, classic and of the utmost quality.

Although the selection is limited, it is done so with purpose. Every manufacturer is chosen for their environmentally friendly material choices and location (i.e.: made in the U.S.). More than their actual product, this place is just fun. Even if you don’t want to shop, grabbing a seat to chat up the boys who own/​run the place is equally cool. They’re nice guys. Genuinely nice guys (with fantastic haircuts!).

I spotted their sandwich board sign after eating lunch at Burger Lounge in Del Mar and wanted to check it out.
It’s a small space tucked in a corner of the strip mall’s lower floor, across from a ladies’ boutique and a Three Dog Bakery. They pride themselves on carrying products made in the USA from clothing and denim to accessories. The staff were all welcoming and happy to answer any questions that we had.
I picked up a wide brimmed hat and they told me that the maker was based in Long Beach. I loved how they were very knowledgeable about their items and where they originated from.
While the occasional visitor might do a double take at the prices, you are paying for something that is made in the USA with high quality materials and attention to details. The stock is a fair split of men’s and women’s items, with a few that are unisex.
I will definitely be back.

Long Flag has a really great vibe and is the kind of man’s store that I enjoy going to. I’m in the «older» group of guys being just over 50, but I don’t like the mens stores that expects me to tuck my pastel polo shirt into my pressed with a crease shorts. Finally, here is a store that I can feel comfortable shopping in that isn’t a skateboard shop. It’s a youthful vibe that goes for quality over quantity and let’s me be a hipster when I could be using my AARP card more often.

This place «gets it»!!! Came through to visit Sam and Vince to just hang out and bring the Wolf&Man vibe to the Lone Flag atmosphere. Always got the sickest accessories done with the finest detail, especially leather goods. Real craftsmanship done throughout the shop with eye catching pieces and not to menntion the sick setup. Nothing but good stuff in the shop when we cruise down. Both Sam and Vince offer a very hospitable visit and the dope weather doesn’t hurt either. Always good to see these guys and keep seeing their shop flourish. Come check them out if your in the neighborhood.

Very cool, well curated shop at Flower Hill. The quality of the goods they sell is top notch and I appreciate their Made in the USA selection. They are super welcoming and don’t make you feel out of place if you don’t know everything about fashion. My favorite part of the shop is the display table in the middle with the house ware items.

Great store in the newly remodeled Flower Hill Promenade! I ventured in here looking for gift ideas for the man in my life. There are all sorts of options: grooming products, premium denim, leather goods, ties, boots, housewares, key chains, wallets, accessories and more.
