This is just in regards to the pumpkin farm. I took my son (drove from Oak Park) because I wanted to take him to a pumpkin patch, and their web site looked good. You had to pay to take a ride back to the pumpkin patch, (which the website says is free) so you could buy a pumpkin… pretty disappointing to say the least. It was a very small place and although the owner seemed very nice the staff was kind of bossy and grouchy. Also it is a very small area with a kids play area that is okay. The petting zoo is five animals in a very small pen. I would recommend Honey Hill for their pumpkins and fall experience. At least they take you back to their pumpkins for free.

I take a different route home from work on summer Friday’s so I can stop here and at one of the other stands. I’ve been pleased with the vegetables I’ve gotten here.

Yaeger’s farm stand IS summertime DeKalb produce. It’s not summer until I’ve eaten my way through bags full of Yaeger’s tomatoes and corn.
