This is my first time trying Hungry Howie’s and unfortunately it will b she last. I got the large Italian Sub and my wife got the Steak, Cheese, and Mushrooms. Needless to say, the subs were so greasy that I couldn’t eat mine. My wife’s food dripped through her box, through my box and onto my food. I have never seen such an atrocity than this food. The one thing that stick out to me if the young guy running the register. He had to look at the menu every time we said something.

Good food. But service falls short. Always an excuse as to why they tell you to come back in 10 when they mean 20. No real reason, looks like a lot of the staff have been working here for quite a while.

First of all, don’t follow Unilocal’s directions, it takes you to a dead end. The place is actually in the shopping center with Winn-​Dixie. I was in town diving at Vortex springs, stayed in DeFuniak. I was looking for local fare and came across this place. I had a small sub and some cheese sticks. It was greasy and tasty. Would recommend it if you’re in the mood for greasy pizza stuff.
