American Cheer Athletics is the #1 All-​Star Cheer Gym in Walton County. We specialize in cheer tumbling and competition cheer for ages 3 to 18. ACA tumbling classes are offered in two locations, Defuniak Springs (North Walton County) and Santa Rosa Beach (South Walton County). You can also hire ACA instructors to come to your school to work with your cheer squad for either a 1 day clinic or once a week classes. ACA offers Open Gym every Saturday Night in Defuniak Springs for anyone wanting to try out the gym or for just something fun to do on a Saturday Night.

History

Established in 2012.

ACA was established by Coach Ted Kline and his wife, Jill in 2012. Tumbling classes were originally started by Coach Ted in 2009 in his previous business, F3, in Freeport. But classes grew too big to be contained in a tiny fitness gym. So American Cheer Athletics was created in Defuniak Springs in March of 2012 and grew so fast we had to move twice in 10 months. What once was 12 students in a tiny room in Freeport is now over 200 students in two locations of Walton County.

Business Owner

Coach Ted Kline started cheering his sophomore year of high school and continued on through college and worked professionally with NCA (National Cheerleading Association). Coach Ted has 10 years experience personally coaching middle school and high school squads, 3 years experience coaching at another all-​star gym, and 2 years of owning his own All-​Star Gym in Defuniak Springs.
