History

Established in 1954.

Originally founded by employees of General Motors, the credit union was a sensible way for the employees to pool their money together and collectively achieve financial gains and capabilities that were to this point, unattainable at the time. In its beginning the credit union was only open to employees of General Motors but has long since opened its doors to all people that live, work, worship or go to school in Williams, Fulton, Defiance, Henry, Paulding and Putnam County.
