Tailor Made Improvements

We moved to the North Shore and have had the experience of receiving «North Shore Pricing» since we moved here and have been both shocked and outraged at some of the plumbing and painting quotes we have received for our fixer-​upper. Being utterly frustrated and unable to find reliable recommendations in this area, I heard from another mom that Bruce Greenberg who owns Tailor Made Improvements did a wonderful job at her home and is trustworthy and affordable. Sounding too good to be true, we received a quote to remove wallpaper, re-​paint, remove carpeting 2 of the bedrooms and repair some water damage in the kitchen and it totaled less than $ 1500 for EVERYTHING. My husband being skeptical was unsure if they would show up as Bruce didn’t even ask for a deposit and he was supplying all the materials. Not only did they show up, but Bruce and 2 other very polite LICENSED workers came and got right to work. They worked for the last 4 days — even showing up at 8am with the foot of snow that was dumped on us last night! The rooms are impeccably done, they were considerate of our 2 small children and cleaned up beautifully.
Now we are planning the exterior painting and some other small work that remains to be done when the weather improves. I feel so much better knowing that Bruce and Tailor Made Improvements can be called upon now whether we decide to build out a garage or just get some handyman help around the house and we won’t be taken advantage of due to a North Shore address. It’s really North Shore quality with better than craigslist pricing. We cannot ask for anything more!
