Extreme caution for this photo and video service. He may offer a low rate, however you are wasting even the slightest amount of money on these services. Spend a little extra and get good quality. The photos taken are good pictures, it’s the quality of the outcome. Nothing was edited despite being told we would have edited pictures. We received a photo album with a bunch of pictures printed out with ink splotches all throughout and cannot even appreciate the picture. We now need to have our photos professionally edited. When I brought this up to Roland, he became very defensive and started harassing me through text message despite how many times I asked him to not contact me. He then began harassing my mother. The video is horrendous. The most important part, the ceremony, is all static sound and you cannot hear us saying our vows. The rest of the video is not static, but extremely jumpy as in old home videos. He says it is «HD» but all he does is throw it on a blue ray disc with horrible quality. I now have no way to watch my ceremony without horrible static and bounce. When I brought this up to Roland, he said he watched it and it is excellent. Well, I’m glad he is satisfied with ruining brides videos. He is unwilling to help the static as he says it is «voices». It is not voices, I can hear voices, mixed through the static. He then starts talking about other brides bringing him to court, and now I can understand why. So future brides, please do yourself a favor and save the disappointment and go with another photo/​video. You certainly get what you paid for… Cheap.

Roland is a very upfront and sincere individual who does a good job with video and photo. He’s reliable, courteous and does a good job. I’ve worked with him many times and continue to work with him. His video and photography skills are good and you’ll be happy with the results. I would definitely recommend him and he doesn’t over charge you like most video and photo individuals.

Would not recommend to future brides.
After receiving a video 5 ½ months after our wedding (4 months 3 weeks after his initially stated production time) we had many concerns with the content and editors choices. Our contract stated we would receive an edited video of our wedding day using dual cameras, which we paid his asking price for. We were disappointed when the edited video contained music overlays that we did not select. There was no follow up during editing to ask the brides preferences, instead he blankly selected the music used in his sample video on his site. When ordering such a personalized video one would expect a degree of personalization.
As the consumer we first reached out to Roland to determine a resolution to our dis– satisfaction. After him stating he would charge additional fees for the changes we requested, we declined. When we asked for raw footage of our wedding so we could edit it ourselves he stated it was taped over. It was not until reviews were written that he reached out to us to resolve our concerns.
We currently have our final video but we were not satisfied with the time and energy it took to receive our final product from Roland Photography.

You state that we were only entitled to a 30 minute video. No where in our contract does it state this. How can you expect to edit down 4 hours of video to 30 minutes of a wedding and still capture the important parts?
You state that you were contracted for 3 hours but you stayed from beginning to end. You were contracted for 4 hours as stated in the contract and stayed for the ceremony and up until the dances with our parents, then stopped filming as you were contracted to do. You did not stay for the entire event and if you did, that was on your time, not ours.
Your email states:
«Delivery: 3 weeks or your money back» — We waited months for the final product.
You state that we were not contracted for dual camera coverage but the contract states differently.
” Dual camera coverage for the ceremony, dual camera coverage for important events in the reception“

Roland did the photography and video for my wedding and he provided exceptional service. He arrived early at the hotel to take pictures of everyone when we were getting ready. He has a great sense of humor so he helped loosen everyone up. When we got to the ceremony he was all set up and ready to go and he took excellent pictures throughout the entire day and captured all of the special moments. Our guests loved the pictures. The video also came out great and I know he put in a lot of time editing it which I appreciated. For the price he charges you cannot find a better photographer. Highly recommend for your next special event!
