Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting

this is the only place to go for auto body repair, painting etc. i have had work done here twice, both times excellent work has been done to my vehicle! krissy is extremely knowledgeable where auto body services are concerned. you won't be sorry for trying maaco dedham ma for all your auto body concerns!

Maaco in Dedham, MA did an exceptional job with painting my vehicle. My visit to Maaco was a cry for help after falling victim to a previous hack paint job done by unlicensed auto body painters aka gypsies.
Krissy was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. What I appreciated most was her follow through on a number of issues, including her communication with my insurance company, securing a rental vehicle for me and ordering the parts necessary for the technicians to complete the job. She knows how to prioritize the various ongoing jobs in the shop, field the questions from customers and the daily walk-​ins while doing it with a smile. A great sense of humor and personality goes a long way the her line of work. I have recommended several of my friends to Maaco and will continue to do so.

A hit-​and-​run creamed the door on my very-​old car. Checked several collision repair shops near me. After chasing after them for about a month, none of them managed to locate a used replacement door of the same color. A neighbor recommended Maaco-​Dedham. It was kind of far from me, but one time when I was in the vicinity, I stopped by. I told «the receptionist» what my problem was, assuming she would call over «one of the guys» to handle the problem. «Let’s take a look,» she said. «Uh, oh,» I thought to myself, «a girl — what does she know.» Within ten minutes she located a replacement door, within 20 minutes all the paperwork was done; the part arrived the next day, and a couple of days later I had a perfect new door.
Krissy is no «receptionist» — she runs the place, and does a damn fine job (even with a toddler occasionally in tow). I hope I don’t need another collision repair, but if I do, I’d go back to Krissy/​Maaco-​Dedham in a heartbeat.

Brought my vehicle here for repairs after an accident in February, didn’t get my car back till the end of March, after contacting them myself for updates and expected return time (kept getting the run around). A week after getting my vehicle back my check engine light came on and was told by macco I would have to prove its accident related.
I took my vehicle to two different mechanics both which confirmed that it was, and was either over looked by who did the repairs or was done by the mechanics themselves.
Krissy was as helpful as she could be but can’t say the same for the rest of the team.

I have three cars driven by me, my wife and my children. Maaco in Dedham is always our first choice for any damage happen to any of the car. I’ve been dealing with this shop since 1982 and it just gets better every time I need to have the cars repaired.
The owner Ralph and his daughter Krissy are the nicest and finest.
They always fix the car perfectly and give me extras without asking.
I recommend them to all my friends and relatives and they all come back to me thanking me for the best experience they had.

I have a 2003 MITSUBISHI Spyder that I wanted repainted as the original paint had faded and oxidized. I went to several body shops and they did not want to do the work. I went to Macco in Framingham, Ma and the guy told me «We can do it but you won’t like it». Another body shop recommended Macco in Dedham. I went and the owner Ralph could not have been more helpful. He totally understood what I wanted and I felt the price was fair. He told me it would take two weeks. Exactly two weeks to the date he called to say the car was ready. The car looked brand new. They had done everything I asked for and fixed every dent I had pointed out. I am not ashamed to drive it anymore. I understand body shops get a bad rap and the bad reviews. I think if you take your time and explain to Ralph what you expect, he will tell you what they can and can not do with a fair price and stick to the time line. I am kind of nutty when it comes to this car and I feel very comfortable recommending Macco in Dedham. Be sure to see Ralph.

Good work, done on time and at a reasonable price. Krissy, Ralph and Doug were very helpful in getting the car in and out far quicker than other shops, and they also helped me out with a rental car (letting me know there was a lower rate available, calling to make sure I had a pickup).
I hope I don’t need repair service again anytime soon, but I’m glad that I know where to go if I do!

Bringing my car here was the worst decision of my life.
They took their damn time. I kept coming back asking about the status about the car, and they kept giving me some phony excuse about waiting for a molding — they didn’t need the molding to paint the car! They promised it would take two weeks, it took six weeks.
They ignored the paperwork and fixed none of the dents. Rust came back under the gas door and they refused to honor their own guarantee. I got a clear coat over the paint and under the clear coat. was orange peel. Complaining was a waste of time — it’s like they don’t hear a word you say.
I could say more — but there’s too much frustration over these incompetents.
Truth is, these guys walk around like they just don’t care. The world would be a better place if this Maaco was just burned to the ground.

Had a very bad experience with a paint job here on my Mini Cooper. Had some work done and shortly after I drove the car away, found several places where paint had come off. When I took it back, the person said that it was not their fault, but due to some chipping since it had a distinctive quality, blah blah… The only thing I wanted to hear was that they’d take care of it, instead just a bunch of excuses and the offer to re-​do it for reduced fee. Needless to say I never went back… and I was a repeat customer! I would skip this place at all costs.

I highly recommend this MAACO. Ralph, the owner operator was terrific. He totally gets it. Body work can be expensive and he will work with you to stay within your budget. He even gave me a lift to the train station. The work was terrific and my little Camry looks brand new !

I think because this shop is not right in the city it is not as busy which is a good thing and totally worth the trip.
The only draw back was that the receptionist was a little snarky, hopefully she was just having a bad day.
