Jared Galleria of Jewelry

I went here yesterday for ring inspection and cleaning. I go to a Jared’s at least twice a year. My husband bought an expensive warranty 9 years ago to cover cleaning, diamond replacements, etc. The works.
Terrible experience at this particular location. Idiot and rude workers.
They couldn’t find any paperwork on my rings or warranty. I have moved all over the States and I showed them the inspection receipts — nope they still can’t find it. Then she was telling me how my diamonds are covered but the band is not. Whaaaaat?
To sum up… over half an hour later (!!!) I told them I needed to leave because I had an appointment. Before I left the lady asked me,“Do you know how much these are worth?” I’m thinking, uh, no of course not… (My husband has never told me and it doesn’t matter.) So I just wanted to leave and I told her «ya somewhere between 1 & 40 grand» She smiled, rolled her eyes and said, «I’m just going to write $ 1500…»
Wow! Ok I’m done.
I went back the following day with my husband to help me sort out this mess. He couldn’t believe anyone would act so unprofessional.
Thankfully there was a different lady there who helped us out and printed a paper with the «right codes» on them so they can find it quickly. It listed unnecessary details but whatever. I’ll take it. My rings still weren’t done. But that’s okay, they’ll be done in about an hr. We’ll be back after lunch. Nope…6 hrs later we finally returned. Only one other customer in the store was being helped. Three employees were in the back area just chatting. I wait several minutes at the pickup counter.
I don’t get it. You are not that busy… I can see why.
Finally, I had a different lady to help us. As she was giving me my rings (side note: beautiful/​clean/​sparkly) she said she recognized me from yesterday. She went on about how ONLY one ring is covered but they did a nice thing and cleaned both for me free of charge. Um, thank you but you’re wrong. That’s when my husband started talking to her.
I’m so done! Never going back. I like Jared too– just not this location. They need to hire people who aren’t rude and know what they’re doing.
By the way, my rings were worth $ 4000 and I have this stupid piece of paper to prove it. :)

I went to this store to get my watch sized. When I asked about charges was told it was $ 35. I needed to have links removed from both sides and was charged $ 73.00 for sizing a $ 120.00
watch. I have had many watches sized over the years and have paid $ 10-​$ 25 but never this much. I feel I was overcharged for a service which took 5 – 7 minutes. The lady was very nice but I wanted to warn fellow consumers never to go to Jared for sizing your watch…
I will never return for service again. I think they need to re examine their charges, it left a bad taste for me…
