Can’t say enough about how great working with Home Inspection Associates was! I was able to very quickly schedule the inspection even though I called after normal business hours. Their price was also the most competitive that I found. Greg did the inspection and was VERY thorough. As a first time home buyer I know almost nothing about houses and he went above and beyond to explain everything to me and gave me a lot of tips on what we should do once we move in (both for repair and preventative maintenance). I recently had a follow up question for my insurance and he wrote back to me right away. I found the company from a friend who had a great experience working with Bob so it’s safe to say you can’t go wrong with any of the inspectors they have!

As nervous first-​time homebuyers, we were pretty nervous about how to operate a house. What does that red valve do? Can I touch that shiny wire? Will this catch on fire if I sneeze? That said, we couldn’t have been more relieved after the inspection we got from Home Inspection Associates.
We worked with Mark, who arrived right on time at our Natick house. He inspected every floor, nook and cranny of our soon-​to-​be house and invited us to tag along through all of it. He took plenty of time to point out things that a brand new homeowner might know zip about. He also offered a lot of advice on how to prevent future issues with drainage and insulation. All of our silly questions were answered and the whole process was actually pretty fun.
We ended the inspection with a lot of helpful information and clear documentation to help us streamline the final sale details of the house. The price was more than fair as well.
We highly recommend Home Inspection Associates for your inspection, especially if you’re a clueless, nervous first-​time homebuyer like we were.

I hate to write this review because Greg was a very nice guy, but after the experience I had, I have to write it.
In 2013, Greg inspected a condo I was buying. Shortly after we moved in, there was a horrible leak coming from a pipe underneath the sink. When I looked at the pipe, there was a quarter size hole at the bottom of it. After reaching out to Greg, he refunded me the money for my home inspection, which I appreciated.
Fast forward two years later (today) and we are selling our condo. The buyer’s inspector found knob and tube wiring which is costing us $ 5000 to fix. I could not have been more disappointed by this news since it is such a major item and very costly.

I was a first time home buyer and I hired Greg from Home Inspection Associates, Inc. to perform my home inspection in December of 2014. I couldn’t have been happier with Greg’s service. He arrived ahead of our scheduled time and we spent hours going over every aspect of the house.
I wanted to know everything and he held nothing back, going into as much detail as I needed, and happy to answer my questions as we went. He was excellent to work with and I appreciated his excellent communication skills.
